Cardano Upgrade News 🛠️ 🗞️
A public Dijkstra testnet is now available! SPOs can begin onboarding using Node 11.1.3 on pv11. Epochs are 1-day in length.
Timeline:
- Protocol version 11 (Conway) on node 11.1.3
- Node 11.2 Pre-Release
- Hard Fork Initiation action
- Hard fork for protocol version 12 (Dijkstra) using node 11.2
- Integration and testing against the Dijkstra feature set (minus Leios)

Here are 5 developments worth watching this week 👇
🔹 Leios stress testing: Musashi enters its “Fire” phase, pushing the network under global-scale load to help determine how Leios should be configured for Cardano mainnet.
🔹 DijkstraNet is approaching: Node 11.2 is expected to introduce a public test network where developers can begin integrating Dijkstra features into dApps and tools.
🔹 Research opens to everyone: Intersect’s Parameter Committee is inviting proposals to study how far Cardano’s minimum UTxO cost can safely be reduced, including risks and trade-offs. Deadline: Nov 4.
🔹 On-chain accountability: All 25 vendor contracts funded through the 2026 budget are now on-chain, representing ₳204.6M in total contract value.
🔹 A new transaction record: Epoch 660 recorded 1,780,896 transactions, largely driven by the revival of Hosky’s “doggie bowl” faucet.

🔹 Tests de résistance de Leios : Musashi entre dans sa phase « Fire », avec des tests de charge à grande échelle pour déterminer comment configurer Leios en vue de son déploiement sur le mainnet de Cardano.
🔹 DijkstraNet se rapproche : La version Node 11.2 devrait introduire un réseau de test public permettant aux développeurs de commencer à intégrer les fonctionnalités de Dijkstra dans leurs dApps et leurs outils.
🔹 La recherche s'ouvre à tous : Le comité des paramètres d’Intersect invite les chercheurs à proposer des études sur la réduction possible du coût minimal en ADA d’un UTxO, en évaluant les risques et les compromis. Date limite : 4 novembre.
🔹 Transparence on-chain : Les 25 contrats fournisseurs financés dans le cadre du budget 2026 sont désormais enregistrés sur la blockchain, pour une valeur totale de ₳204,6 millions.
🔹 Un nouveau record de transactions : L’époque 660 a enregistré 1 780 896 transactions, principalement grâce au retour du faucet « Doggie Bowl » du token meme Hosky.

Intersect Weekly Update #132 : les points clés
Trois semaines après la mise à jour critique Node 11.1.2, environ 30 % de la production de blocs (epoch 660) est encore validée par des versions plus anciennes. Node 11.1.3 est recommandé, 11.1.2 est le minimum.
⚙️ Technique
→ Dijkstra : Node 11.2 devrait apporter l'ensemble des fonctionnalités Dijkstra, hors Leios, avec le lancement du testnet public DijkstraNet pour tester dApps et outils.
→ CIP-0113 est live sur le mainnet depuis le 7 octobre : les tokens programmables intègrent des règles de transfert et de conformité (KYC/AML, filtrage des sanctions, gel des tokens), sans hard fork.
🗳️ Gouvernance
→ CAP-12, l'amendement qui ajoute les paramètres de l'ère Dijkstra à la Constitution, a été révisé après les retours des DReps, des SPO et du TSC. Un commentaire a repéré un garde-fou sur minPoolCost qui aurait bloqué le changement visé. Les derniers points suivent la semaine prochaine.
