Not an overly big crowd for game one.

How the hell is #skol 6-0 with this horrendous offense?

#SKOL vaunted defense looked like a middle school football 🏈 team against #ForTheShoe on their first drive.

The amount of bots 🤖 from the #NJDevils fanbase that came out to comment on this tweet was hilarious. It also appears many of these same bots can’t comprehend English. #mnwild fans know @RussoHockey and @JoeSmithNHL aren’t going to just write stories that aren’t true. They’re some of the best beat writers in the business. They also didn’t take Quinn Hughes out of context or make up a story.
New Jersey fans aren’t going to like this. #mnwild “I’m here. I’ve always been. I’m excited,” Hughes said. “My two feet are planted in Minnesota. Something could happen soon. I’m not too sure. I’m really enjoying playing here. nytimes.com/athletic/7720935…

Carson was helped by a right rear by Brady Bacon. The 55 car is going to tear up a ton of equipment next season. Count on it. @TheRestartCone
Holy shit Macedo went for a RIDE. Glad he's okay.

I like how everyone glossed over the fact that Donny Schatz was again fed a right rear tire by Garret Williamson. That’s the second time in a the last few weeks. This wasn’t an accident, Schatz has closed the gap in point to 20. @WorldofOutlaws @OWUpdates_ someone needs to hold this punk Williamson accountable.
CAUTION - Lap #30: Donny Schatz sits sideways in turn two.

Hey veterans is meme this true? 😂 We used to bag on the Air Force for getting booked in five star ⭐️ hotels while the Army slept in grungy tents and the Marines slept in fox holes.

Great news for #mnwild fans finally, we have a deal on @DIRECTV — took them long enough. Also, the coverage on @PrimeVideo hasn’t been bad. I’ve been watching Thursday night football on it for a couple of seasons. Wild+ Now Available on DIRECTV nhl.com/wild/news/wild-now-a…

No he’s not NHL ready. He’s a freshman playing against older, bigger players and he was kind of reminded that he’s got a lot of work to do. He’s very dynamic but was caught up ice doing too much and had some rough turnovers in the d-zone. His upside is amazing. He’s 18 years old. @FlamesScoutWire
Did someone just say that Carels is “NHL ready”?!? #Flames

My prediction: @UNDmhockey forward Connor Davis is going to be a fan favorite. The kid gives 100 percent every shift. He has drive and game. @UofHockeyBlog @BIGOLY
Conner Davis has been one of the best players for UND all weekend, why? Because he plays hard with speed and strength and advances pucks. He doesn't dangle, he let's chances come organically during the course of play. Never see him try something he can't do and turn over pucks.

The Manitoba Moose @bradyoliveira scores an important TD to keep the @Wpg_BlueBombers playoff hopes alive. #ForTheW — they’re either headed to Toronto or back to Vancouver.

Poetic justice for Williamson who fed @DonnySchatz another right rear tire. I am sick of this punk’s dirty driving. While Donny isn’t that kind of a driver, he should visit Williamson’s trailer.
CAUTION - Lap #30: Joe B Miller, Tyler Courtney, Garet Williamson, Bill Balog, Howard Moore all tangle in turn three.

I think a bag skate on Monday would be an appropriate practice. @zamboni81
Replying to @goon48 @hockeybias
Agree. But the boys should walk home.

Lines for game two of the Rivalry Series between @UNDmhockey and @GopherHockey hockey teams — looks like Jax and company are sending messages.

I think the numerous turnovers in the d-zone were a big factor. @SchlossmanGF talked about this on his podcast this week. @NDBrian76
Who stood out for @UNDmhockey to you last night? For me, it was Boser, Davis, Emery, and Reschny. Did Spunar have a bad night? Absolutely, but I blame alot of that on the Defense. Not all of it though. Will Heil start in net tonight? Im leaning towards yes.

As a Veteran this really pisses me off. This makes my blood 🩸 boil. A lot of our troops died on Iwo Jima fighting for our country.
NEW: Multiple federal sources confirm to @FoxNews that the suspect arrested for using a sledgehammer to behead a WW2 Iwo Jima monument in Quantico, VA on Tuesday is a Mexican illegal alien & former DACA recipient whose legal status expired this year. Miguel Alonso Maldonado Soriano has now been charged with felony destruction of property and trespass with intent to damage property. Per federal sources, Soriano illegally crossed into the U.S. in December 1999. He was granted DACA by the Obama administration in 2014 and had it extended for years, most recently by the Biden admin in 2024, but he lost his DACA status in August of this year when it wasn’t renewed by the Trump administration.

I’d like to second that motion. @scofarr call the game and stop whining. At least he’s not purposely slathering the player’s names tonight.

Brady Bacon will have a scrap heap of destroyed and bent Sprint Car parts.
Welcome to the High Limit Room, @BradyBacon! 🤝🏼 @TonyVermeer55 has made it official and signed "The Macho Man" as his full-time driver for the 2027 @InterstateBatts High Limit Racing campaign.

Always bring the recites: from @grok — Yes — in specific documented cases, some University of Minnesota (Gophers) fans and students did exactly that after NCAA men’s ice hockey national championships. The clearest examples are the back-to-back titles in 2002 and 2003, centered in the Dinkytown area near campus: • 2002 (win over Maine, first title in 23 years): Crowds of several hundred to over 1,000 filled the streets. They smashed street lights and windows, jumped on cars, set fires, and threw rocks and bottles. Police used pepper spray and tear gas. There were roughly 23–45 arrests (sources vary), officers were injured, and property damage was estimated around $40,000–$55,000. • 2003 (win over New Hampshire): This one was worse. Rioters set dozens of fires (reports of ~65, including dumpsters, mattresses, furniture, and multiple vehicles — at least 3–5 cars burned, including a local TV station van). They flipped cars, smashed windows of businesses, and looted U Liquors (they rammed a bicycle rack through the window and took cases of beer and bottles of liquor). Damage exceeded $100,000. Arrests numbered around 11, with a crowd estimated at up to 2,000. Police in riot gear, firefighters, tear gas, and rubber bullets were involved. These were alcohol-fueled celebrations that escalated into arson, vandalism, and some looting by a subset of the crowd. University officials and some locals described the worst actors as hooligans rather than typical hockey fans, and there was criticism of both the rioters and aspects of the police response. Smaller disturbances also occurred in later years (such as 2014 after a championship loss or a Frozen Four win), with fires, arrests, and property damage, though less severe. This is not a universal or ongoing trait of “Minnesota fans” in general, nor does it apply to every sport or every championship celebration. Recent field storms after football wins (e.g., vs. Michigan) have been largely peaceful by comparison. Destructive post-championship behavior by students/fans has happened at many other colleges too. The 2002–2003 hockey incidents are the ones that match the “loot and burn” description most closely.
He must have us confused with Minnesota fans. We don’t riot here.
