This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. Valleyview RCMP have issued an Amber Alert.
This alert is in effect for the entire province of Alberta.
An Amber Alert has been issued for 7-year-old female Aspen Wilson abducted from her residence in Valleyview. Aspen is 4 feet tall, slim, curly shoulder blond hair, blue eyes. Aspen was taken by her stepfather Alexander Stone, 28 years old, 6 foot 5 inches, 185 lbs, brown hair, hazel eyes. Alexander Stone is believed to be driving a grey 2004 Chevrolet Venture van, with Alberta license plate CWY 3459 possibly driving to Slave Lake or Red Deer.
If located, do not approach the vehicle or suspect. Call 9-1-1 immediately or contact RCMP at 310-RCMP. Visit alberta.ca/emergencyalert or stay tuned to local media for updates.

🔎 NEED TO IDENTIFY 🔍
We are asking for the public’s help to identify a driver who was involved in a pedestrian hit & run in the northeast community of Taradale.
📍 At approx. 7:10 a.m., on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, members were called to the intersection of Tarington Way & Taradale Drive N.E. for reports of a hit & run. Upon arrival, officers located a boy in medical distress.
It is believed the boy was crossing the road at a marked crosswalk when a white, four-door sedan entered the intersection & struck him. The car drove off without stopping. Bystanders assisted the boy & he was transported to hospital in stable condition.
Investigators are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who has dashcam footage from the area at the time of the incident, to contact police by calling the non-emergency number.

We are asking for the public’s help to locate a man who is wanted on a warrant for the August 2025 assault of a man in the northwest community of Nolan Hill.
📍 On Monday, Aug. 11, 2025, at about 4 a.m., it’s believed that the victim & his partner were asleep at their residence in the 300 block of Nolan Hill Rise N.W., when they were awoken by yelling outside. The victim went to investigate & saw a group of 3 unknown women & 1 man. The victim confronted the group & an altercation followed. The group climbed onto the patio & assaulted the victim. The victim’s partner came outside & the group fled in a black 2025 Nissan Versa.
Thanks to CCTV footage & witness reports, investigators identified the suspects.
📌 On Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2025, Abdullah CHAHID, 25, of Kingston, Ont., was charged by way of warrant with assault causing bodily harm. Numerous attempts to locate him have been unsuccessful & we are asking the public for information on his whereabouts.
📣 Anyone with information on his whereabouts, or who may have information on this incident, is asked to contact police.
