𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐝-𝐌𝐚𝐣𝐨𝐫 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 🏈‼️ Jake Carlson (Waldport) earns the 5th-ever Mid-Major Media Football Player of the Week award, following his historic performance in a 50-12 victory over No. 5 Lowell on Friday night. Carlson imposed his will on the Devils, compiling 321 yards on the ground and 5 TDs, one of them being a 98-yard QB keeper, while also picking off a pass on defense. Carlson’s efforts not only led the Irish to a big win, but clinched them their first league title in program history 🤯 Here’s what Waldport HC Jack Boothe had to say about his performance: “Jake had a big night for us and ran behind 8 other guys who worked hard to open up lanes. The entire team led us to a great win over a talented Lowell squad.” Congratulations, Jake 💪🏻 This award is sponsored by @oregonarmyguard #opreps
