Ao3 shouldn’t be so easy to extract data from to begin with. they need to work on moving themselves out of beta and be a real website with proper protection for writers like WattPad.

Fanfic authors, please be aware there is a website 👉 ao3.life that is scraping fics from Ao3 and turning them into Ai audiobooks and selling them for profit
They have an option to have your fics taken down but from what I’m seeing you have to provide personal info to “prove” the fanfics are yours to begin with (giving, phishing scam) and they claim they pay the authors, which is both untrue and ILLEGAL
Nearly all my fanfics are on here I’m genuinely shaking I’m so pissed like what the FUCK is wrong with people 😭😭😭
