My 89 yo grandma plants churches in senior care home facilities with my 90yo grandpa. Gpa is out of town today, with a men’s group, so grandma preached the 12 minute sermon. My uncle drove her there so she could get there and get home.
There are people out there who need to hear about Jesus and my grandma made sure that this morning that they would. 💕
Day one as a SAHM, and last night I was all in my feels with summer being over🥺, but TODAY I’m kinda feeling like Kevin😏
Intervened bc “Other”: I’m trying to slow it wayyy down, in my feels, and BUST OUT my coming-of-age fav song before I get home. @ThirdEyeBlind @Tesla
Excited to finally get into this one! Thanks @scotmcknight & my friend Adrienne🫶 - who I know put so much hard work into this!! The Preface already has me. 👏👏👏
We made it!
The summer before sixth grade, my parents decided to become missionaries and moved our family from Baltimore, Maryland, to Berlin, Germany to plant a church. It’s still there all these years later.
I attended an international school and my classmates are meeting up for our 20 year reunion this weekend! I get to see all my old friends, show my husband where I lived and went to school, and take in all the history that I took for granted while living there as a preteen.
Living in Berlin changed me. It gave me much needed perspective, education, and a deep and personal reverence for God’s creation; the culture, the people, the history (both painful and hopeful).
I’m in awe and thankful for this opportunity to go back. What a beautiful world we live in.

I know if I’ve spelled desert or dessert correctly based on the suggested emojis that pop up on my keyboard.
