One thing I still don’t get, being an @Apple user for so long, is their auto-updates feature which never updates.
I used to have the same problem on Android too tbh.
Having to manually update apps all the time, missing out on critical security and feature releases.
My advice to devs is: when watching a tutorial, don’t just blindly follow along copying what they’re typing.
Yes, watch the tutorial, absorb it and learn—then try to implement it yourself and test what you’ve learned -referring back as a reference rather than just regurgitating
@amazon delivery is a joke. 2nd time in 7days promised same/next day delivery & it never arrives.
Customer service pretends to be human but it's clearly AI.
Trust in Amazon's delivery times is dwindling. I rely on things arriving when they say they will.
I’ve decided the next time I’m applying for a job my cover letter will simply say
“I deal with the big potato stuff 🥔”
NEW PHONE DAY !! 17 Pro
Some people may have pre-ordered the iPhone 18 Pro - I don’t follow the crowd and just wanted the orange one
Saved £300 👍 upgrading from the 15 Pro Max feels nice to have a 1 hand phone again too
A simple post I made on LinkedIn went “viral”. Hitting nearly 46k impressions.
A number I never thought I’d ever see on my LinkedIn, never mind a post I made quite flippantly. But clearly it’s a subject that resonates wit many devs around the world.
“Developer” != 10 roles
