We lost the PSG game due to lack of intensity. But this clasico loss reminded me of our games against Inter and Atletico in UCL. Flick has no answer for low blocks other than committing a lot of players forward and we end up eating goals due to lack of quality in defence.
Big games require big players. You cannot compete at the highest level with a defence of this quality. No benefit scoring 5 against mid table teams when you look toothless against the big teams.
The only conclusion to draw from this game is that PSG were way better at pressing and only way to beat that is to have all our players fit and fresh for big games.
