Ok, @1Password is all over my timeline. Who uses them? The new agent feature looks good.
However
The single point of failure makes me nervous. What do I need to know?

This week, we shipped 33 improvements to Zite.
The biggest is a completely new workspace layout. We rethought it from the ground up as @zite evolves from building individual apps to running entire systems.
Here's what's changed:
🧭 Workspace
• One sidebar for apps, databases, users, integrations, version history, and settings
• More room to build with a collapsible sidebar and resizable chat
• See who's working on each app and which builds need attention
• Switch organizations, star workspaces, and organize them into sections
• Better workspace URLs and faster navigation
💡 Building with AI
• Feature suggestions as you type your prompt
• Auto mode is now the default
• Larger chat box, with drafts saved across refreshes
• Paste image URLs directly into chat
• Long builds now retain their to-do lists
• Hero images generate in ~20 seconds, with better image quality
• App previews update after every build, with sample data for private apps
🚚 Migrating to Zite
• New migration hub for Airtable, Notion, Salesforce, Monday, and more
• Rebuild Fillout forms as full apps, preserving logic, branding, and connected accounts
• Airtable rollups stay live after import
🗃️ Database
• Import data directly from connected tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, and Notion
• Simpler AI field models: Mini, Pro, and Max
• Filter tables using checkboxes in linked records
• Search tables directly from the tab list
• People lookups now show names instead of IDs
• CSV exports include formulas, rollups, and lookups
🔐 Access & sharing
• Open internal apps across organizations without switching dashboards
• Email notifications when teammates are granted access
• Access requests go to workspace managers
• Improvements to revoking users
• Custom domains for internal apps
🤖 Connected AI agents
• Connect Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor straight from Home
• See which agent made each change, with a dedicated activity feed
• Connected agents can upload files to your database
• Connected agents can create and edit AI fields
✨ And more
• Faster published apps and sign-ins
• Duplicate entire workspaces, including connected accounts, secrets, and context
• 50 free credits for work-email signups, plus 50 for each onboarding step

You can now interact with your Zite apps directly in ChatGPT.
We're using OpenAI's new Plugin Extensions, announced at DevDay, to make this possible.
Ask ChatGPT to find your apps, open one, and you'll see a live preview right in the conversation.
Make changes and see the app update as it builds.
- Browse your Zite workspaces and apps
- Explore your databases, including tables, fields, and relationships
- Browse Zite marketplace solutions and create your own copy
Available now through the verified Zite plugin in ChatGPT.

Airtable is being acquired by Bending Spoons for 1.285B.
A few thoughts from seeing how ~100k teams use Airtable alongside our products:
At roughly 2.7x its $480M in ARR, Airtable is either very expensive or an absolute steal.
It’s expensive if Airtable fails to adapt. AI-generated software will erode horizontal SaaS, per-seat pricing will keep weakening, and customers will gradually replace it with software built specifically for them.
Bending Spoons is betting that Airtable’s revenue will remain durable through that transition.
But with the right execution, I think there is a 10x upside case.
Teams use Airtable to run important operational processes where data, permissions, integrations, security, and reliability matter. That gives it a deeply embedded position inside hundreds of thousands of organizations.
Bending Spoons now has two very different paths to choose from.
The first is the PE playbook: reduce product development, increase prices, and improve margins.
Airtable is sticky enough that this could work for a few years. But it would be bad for customers and a huge waste of the opportunity.
The second is the ambitious path: evolve Airtable from a tool where teams organize work into a platform that can help perform it.
If Airtable can add an intelligence layer that understands how organizations operate and safely executes work, it could accelerate both its growth and the value it provides customers.
Airtable tried moving in this direction with Hyperagent, but it felt too little, too late, and disconnected from the core product.
My guess is that building this into a product as mature as Airtable is simply hard.
Its custom database and interface builder were created for a different era of software, before isolated databases became easy to provision and LLMs could generate custom interfaces and workflows.
If Bending Spoons takes the ambitious path, it has a significant technical challenge ahead. I hope it does, and makes Airtable much better for its customers.
Or maybe they’ll see @zite coming and decide to throw in the towel 😉
Fillout’s new AI has a way of making a mature product feel brand new.
Now everyone can use the most advanced features we have, just by asking.
Simple software is dying.
Simplicity only mattered when humans had to use every feature.
Now that agents can operate software for you, it’s the most capable tool that wins.
Fillout reached 12,000 paying customers by focusing on depth over simplicity.
It turns out we may have also built the best form builder for agents.

Stripe is now live in Zite.
You can build apps that take payments, manage subscriptions, and keep commerce data connected to the rest of your business.
A few things this unlocks:
One-off checkout for products, services, bookings, and deposits.
Subscriptions for memberships, plans, trials, and ongoing services.
Dashboards and portals powered by Stripe customers, subscription status, renewal dates, and access rules.
Available on all plans at zite dot com
On a personal note, I’ve joined @zite as Head of Education.
I learned a huge amount building Raydian, and I’m excited to bring those lessons into the enterprise space, working closely with businesses through Zite.
It’s a great team, strong leadership, and a product and roadmap that genuinely excite me.
Zite is acquiring @raydian_dev, our second acquisition this year
Founders Ryley and Greg are joining the Zite team
How we got here:
We first came across Raydian in November 2025
Even just 6 months ago, agentic building tools for non-engineers were far more limited
Raydian was early to several ideas that are now fundamental, like planning mode with tasks, design mode, visual editing, and built-in auth + databases
Before Raydian, their team spent years running Devize, a profitable no-code app builder. Not too different from how Zite grew out of Fillout
@ryley is joining Zite in a cross-functional role spanning engineering and go-to-market. He is a rare combination of builder and operator
@gregoryjohn is joining as Zite's first Head of Education. He's taught over 100,000 people how to build with no-code and will have a big impact on our customers
While the Raydian product is shutting down, many of the ideas and lessons behind it will make their way into @zite

🚨 Domain for sale
I bought this domain in Aug 2024 right as AI coding was gaining traction.
I planned to build a fully autonomous AI coding news + tools platform… although I made a start, I never got the time to fully execute.
The upside here is massive. Google Trends shows exploding growth (see first reply).
Serious buyers only, DM offers.

Which one do you prefer?
I'm vibe coding an image upscaler called Clarity with @raydian_dev and @fal
Step 1 – Design your app screens and UI
Step 2 – Ask @raydian_dev to convert it into an app
Step 3 – Go for a run
Step 4 – Come back and test it
