So I've basically stopped using X due to, well, what X has become.
I'm somewhat active on LinkedIn and I've recently joined Blue Sky (<at>gwitek.com) – if you're there, let me know!
I wonder why Twitter needed a new "Verified followers" tab and then I saw what's going on in the "All followers" tab 🤦🏻♂️ it's incredible how the quality of this site just keeps going down
I've thought about something like this years ago. I used to experience severe wrist pain and I thought a sphere keyboard could be more ergonomic, though I imagined it would have maybe 10-15 buttons and pressing them together would be required (like stenographers).
A quote from Linda's memoir, coming in 2029:
"The rebranding idea was ridiculous since the beginning and nobody besides Elon believed it would work, but we couldn't say anything. We were all his yes-men..."
Replying to @lindayaX
X is the future state of unlimited interactivity – centered in audio, video, messaging, payments/banking – creating a global marketplace for ideas, goods, services, and opportunities. Powered by AI, X will connect us all in ways we’re just beginning to imagine.

I wrote a thing.
Here's how process managers fuck up the concept of velocity and how to unfuckitup:

Anyone knows some good course on technical writing? I need to level up my game and then help others to do it
I read one too many articles about how process managers screw up their teams by relying on estimations and velocity, and now I'm writing a guide on how to unscrew it. I'm afraid I'll end up with 5,000 words 😩
Wait, so Twitter works on the web with no issues? It's only mobile app that has this rate-limiting issue? 🤯
Wait, didn't Twitter owner recently show off they got record usage? So then he figured out it was mostly bots? 🤨
Also, I can't even verify screen authenticity cause I'm rate limited. The Twitter comedy's getting better every day 🤦🏻♂️

Yes, and when we turn devs into EMs we fail to teach them new skills that are needed in their new role. Most EMs I know got no training besides how to use HR software when they moved to management
People mock PMs all the time but engineering management is just as broken. We've allowed people who can't even code to politic themselves into positions of power, driving down quality and creativity across the industry. Talented engineers are suffering under non-technical managers that only evaluate "impact" not quality of work.
When I first tried ChatGPT, I thought "I wonder what happens in 5-10 years, when majority of new content is at least partially AI-generated". Now I've learned it's causes a phenomenon dubbed "model collapse" and it's a real concern: bdtechtalks.com/2023/06/19/c…
... as AI becomes very common, there'll be little new content introducing new facts that will be human-generated and will qualify to be a training set. Which means that "old" facts (pre-202x) will have bigger representation than "new" facts
While we ban high-emission cars from the city centers, we should also look at the noise levels and ban vehicles that are too loud (looking particularly at motorcycles and mopeds).
I can't sleep with open window because every 5 minutes there's a 90dB moped passing by at 12am 🤬
