Most GMs are from scouting backgrounds; very few from business/negotiating backgrounds.
An inherent competitive advantage.

If I owned an NFL team, I would prohibit trades with Howie Roseman and the Eagles. I would be afraid that Howie is A LOT smarter than my GM would probably fleece us in a deal.

Got really emotional leaving downtown tonight. I don’t know if these guys will ever truly know what they did for some of us, for this city. Today was one of those really special days, it felt like a hug

This has been the greatest, most joyous month of my entire life. For a fanbase so used to October heartbreak and a city so used to being overlooked, the Brewers finally delivered the title and spotlight we deserve. I’ll be riding this high for a LONG time. God I love baseball.

Muslim Imam pressuring shopkeepers to support the tenets of Sharia Law in Texas.
This is a civil rights violation against both the shopkeeper and non-Muslims who want to buy alcohol or pork.
In Texas, USA, a Muslim preacher is pressuring a shopkeeper not to sell alcohol and pork-related products in his store.
Because these are considered haram in Islam. So he is telling the shopkeeper to start changing the items stocked in his shop, otherwise he will bring other Muslims and protest against the store.
Look at the audacity of this Muslim preacher, he lives in America, but instead of following the laws there, he wants to impose his own religious rules.
When they are a minority, they demand the shield of human rights and religious freedom, and as soon as they get a chance to establish a foothold, they start imposing their list of “haram and halal.”

Well after attending 6 postseason games including two in Tampa I’m down bad today. Watching the parade at home. I didn’t know Ted Simmons was basically Christopher Lloyd, and man seeing Rollie still doing the stache was cool. #ThisIsMyCrew #WinOurWay
All true
James Talarico is the most left wing, extreme radical candidate imaginable. Every single position he has taken would be considered far left even in California. Yet this guy is running in Texas.
Talarico wants to shutdown the oil industry in Texas, he wants to trans children and he believes there are 6 genders. It is bizarre that he is even competitive in Texas.

Ryan Braun on one end of the mic as a player vs. Ryan Braun on the other end of the mic as Brewers alum/hype machine has been an amazingly fun and unimaginably broad arc to soak up.

Tonight… You can tell the kids who are raised by democrats vs the kids who are raised by Americans.
Democrat kids will grab handfuls of candy and complain they didn’t get enough.
American kids will accept the candy and say “thank you”
Night and day difference.
