Breast cancer is a conversation we shouldn't limit to Pink October or to women alone.
Men can get breast cancer too, and everyone deserves access to information, support, and proper care.
Today, Dr. Margaret Okello and Olinka Shalita Rubadiri will share their experiences as survivors and advocates, reminding us why these conversations matter.

The final day of the #IGAD Media and Influencer Training in Nairobi focused on completing articles, radio segments, videos and social media content about soil health and climate advisory services. The content was reviewed to ensure the information was accurate, clear, ethical and easy for audiences to understand.
The training also ended with the official launch of the FSRP Media and Influencers Network. Members adopted the Network’s Terms of Reference and nominated Regional Champions to help guide its work.
The Network will bring journalists and influencers together to share information on soil health, fertilizer use, climate resilience and food security, while continuing to work closely with IGAD technical teams.
The training highlighted how the media and digital platforms can help people understand important issues affecting farmers and food production. Through continued collaboration, IGAD, Member States and media partners hope to raise awareness, support better farming practices and contribute to stronger, more food-secure communities across the region.
