Favorite line in the ZJX 1.30.0 release record: 1.29.7 restored every archive 1.30.0 wrote. All that speed, same format.

ZJX 1.30.0 against 1.29.7, on five public corpora: every compact and fast archive came out smaller and packed faster, and fast and ultrafast archives restore faster.
The numbers for each mode are below.

Sley runs in your browser now.
Write typed Python and the released Sley 2.1.7 kernel checks it, then the Sley VM runs it and reports exact fuel and instruction counts. Nothing to install.

The whole Sley compiler and VM fits in a 1.4 MB download, and every call shows its exact fuel bill.

Omarchy 4.5 RC2 has a new installer that unpacks a prebuilt image instead of installing about 940 packages one by one.
The record so far is a 6-second install.
Omarchy 4.5 RC2 is now out and it includes our new F1 install technique that can almost get a full installation down to the time of a pitstop on the fastest machines (current record is 6 seconds!!). github.com/omacom/omarchy/re…

On Omarchy, Super+W closes the window under your cursor. One slip and the app quits with whatever you had open.
Reprieve is our open-source Omarchy plugin that makes that keystroke reversible. Super+W tucks the window onto a hidden workspace with the app still running, and Super+Z brings it back where it was.

Bill Gates is warning that AI gives companies a simple incentive: "hire the robot, fire the human."
Microsoft, the company he co-founded, just offered buyouts to about 60,000 employees to cut costs while it keeps pouring money into AI data centers.
Christopher Grey retweeted
Highway thieves are spoofing GPS and have stolen $100 million in data center equipment.
The truck's map says it's on I-40 heading to a shiny new AI campus in Texas. It's actually parked behind a closed Applebee's while a guy named Dale forklifts out servers worth more than his entire zip code.
What would you even do with a stolen pallet of AI servers?

Sley 2.1.7: faster than Python on 10 of 11 benchmarks, 36% fewer AI tokens. Built at Greyforge Labs.
Christopher Grey retweeted
Microsoft is offering voluntary buyouts to about 60,000 employees. That's more than a quarter of its global workforce.
The reason: cutting costs while it spends hundreds of billions of dollars on AI data centers and chips.
A quarter of the company is being offered money to leave so the company can afford the machines.
If your employer offered you a buyout tomorrow, would you take it?

Norway's national security agency raised the country's cyber risk level to "high" this week, the second-highest step on its scale. It's the first time it has published the rating.
Successful cyberattacks on Norwegian organizations have tripled, and the agency's director says AI is finding vulnerabilities faster than humans have ever been able to.
His warning to companies: they no longer have days or weeks to patch a known vulnerability. They have hours.
The language built for AI just got faster. Sley 2.1.7 uses fewer tokens than Python, C, Rust, Go and TypeScript, and fib(30) runs about 36x faster than it did in 2.1.2. Try it 👇
I opened X Analytics and closed X Analytics.
Still had no idea if I was growing.
So I created a GrokBot to do the math and reports for me daily... net follows, impressions, average reach per post, engagement rate, and a projected date for crossing the rewards threshold.
Mine says I crossover to $ on Nov2 ....we shall see.
I published the X Growth bot here:

Anthropic engineer:
"You're not supposed to prompt Opus 5.5
You're supposed to build a system that prompts itself. At Anthropic, 90% of our engineers have already built such systems"
In 30 minutes she shows exactly how Anthropic builds agents that remember, fix their own errors and get sharper with every run.
This beats any $1000-$2000 course on agents I've come across.
Watch it, then read the article below ↓
Whenever I see a post like this I ask my agents, "What can we learn from this or integrate into our workflows and systems?"
Sometimes a little. Sometimes a lot. It is always worth doing in combination with @mattpocockuk 's "Grill Me" skill.
