As a scientific research and training program, GRK2243 can´t stay on a platform controlled by an owner who is constantly challenging our values and foundations. Find us now @ sciences.social/@grk2243
We are recruiting for our doctoral program #grk2243 on #ubiquitin funded by @dfg_public

Congratulations to @MYCGyvers and @_WolfLab for their work on MYC multimers, now published in @nature!! 🍾
We are happy and proud to announce our latest @nature paper! Fantastic work by especially @Daniel_Solvie, @Pol2Runner & @leonie_uhl!
Under transcription-replication-stress, MYC multimerizes to promote stress-resilience and protect stalled replication forks in tumour cells.
A warm welcome to Claudio @LabJoazeiro !! We are looking forward to your talk about E3’s combating aberrant ribosomes 🤺🤓
Exciting developments in student’s projects, enjoying the autumn sunshine with a glass of Federweißer, and a charming night stroll through cobbled streets of Rothenburg - this was a retreat well done! 🥂😊
Coffee, paper and fancy-pens are ready! We’re kicking off the annual GRK2243 retreat in lovely Rothenburg ob der Tauber!! Looking forward the science and fun 🤩🤓
#wUeBI2022 Looking back to a great meeting in May... Have you seen the pictures on our website yet? uni-wuerzburg.de/grk2243/son…
#Ubiquitin friends 👋 check out the newest publication from @DiefenbacherL @Uni_WUE demonstrating that USP28 enables oncogenic transformation in lung 🫁
Awesome work from our past member @CristianPG_mlg 🥳
📢Don't miss this - out now in Early View!
USP28 enables oncogenic transformation of respiratory cells, and its inhibition potentiates molecular therapy targeting mutant EGFR, BRAF and PI3K

After three days of great #science, fruitful discussions, amazing talks and an inspiring poster session our #wUeBI2022 meeting is over. Not much to say, just a huge thanks to all speakers, all participants and of course a special thanks to the organizing committee 👏😀
Everything needs to come to an end, unfortunately also our #wUeBI2022 symposium – @AndyMartinLab will give the last talk for today: Ubiquitin chains allosterically regulate substrate entry into the 26S proteasome
We´ve heard a lot of #Ubiquitin in diseases already – Elke Krueger from @uni_greifswald will now elucidate the role of Ubiquitin in innate immune signalling
How are ubiquitination and transcription connected in the cell? Jesper Syejstrup @SvejstrupLab will talk about the last resort pathway for contending with transcription obstructing DNA damage
The second part of the last Session just started – time flies by when listening to great talks! Thorsten Hoppe explains us how the ubiquitin ligase CHIP is regulated in proteostasis and aging
Coming to the last talk before the Coffee-break☕️ – Melissa Hoyer from @jwadeharperlab shows us how Organelle quality control works in neuronal cells
We heard about ER-phagy, Lysophagy already – now @AnjaBremm will explain us how USP32 and LAMTOR1 ubiquitination work together and induce Autophagy 👏 #wUeBI2022
Beautiful IF pictures shown by Hemmo Meyer from @ZmbhH Duisburg - Lets investigate how Ubiquitination controlles Lysophagy
Good morning #Ubiquitin-lovers - Day 3 and also the last day of our amazing #wUeBI2022 symposium just started👏Session 5 Proteostasis kicked-off by Ivan Đikić @iDikic2. In his Keynote he is showing why Ubiquitination is important for ER remodelling - great start in the day
The spirit of our symposium - getting together, moving together! Thanks @iDikic2 for that fantastic talk
A great conference comes with a great dinner - lots of networking, scientific discussion and of cause enjoying a glas of famous franconian wine🍷 Glad to be back in person finally at #wUeBI2022
Last talk for today and ending Session 4 by Bianca van Tol – In this selected short talk we will learn about neutron-encoded ubiquitin chains as the last tool of our #Ubiquitin toolbox today
