Just so you know, everyone that switches from smoking to vaping has that problem at first. It’s a combination of your lungs being in bad shape from smoking, and the vapor having a bit more relative weight than the smoke. After switching, you will choke up detritus for weeks, 👇🏼

What could possibly be the difference in addictive potential between the cloud on the left and the cloud on the right?

The number one barrier to less harmful nicotine alternatives is decades of incomplete public-health messaging that left most people believing nicotine itself causes the cancer and disease from smoking, with little corrective effort.

It's very telling that the truth is the easiest way for @ACSCAN @GaryReedyACS @AmericanCancer any organization not to have to block people or replies.

Review of 23 studies: “Improvements were seen across different [smoking] cessation methods including pharmacotherapy and e-cigarettes. Randomized Control Trials on e-cigarettes reported significant improvements in flow-mediated dilation irrespective of nicotine content, suggesting that combustion rather than nicotine may be the primary driver of vascular impairment.” (2026) academic.oup.com/eurjpc/arti…

Reposting this reply simply because @ACSCAN doesn't want anyone seeing it, so they have hidden it. They seem to have learned nothing from their previous post where the hidden replies got about 5 times more views than the non-hidden replies.

SUGGESTION: Tell the truth. US teen nicotine vaping dropped 74% over the past 6 years despite that fact that the availability of 'flavored' nicotine vapes skyrocketed. Please stop pushing a lie. #FactCheck: Middle & high school “current use” (≥once/month) 2019: 4.5% smoked; 20% vaped nicotine (3.7% daily) cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/68/ss/s… 2025: 1.4% smoke; 5.2% vape nicotine (1.4% daily) fda.gov/media/191376/downloa… tobaccocrst.org/data-briefs academic.oup.com/ntr/advance…

Ok so we are throwing out common sense? Harm reduction is 100% common sense. If cigarettes were replaced with less harmful products, it would be a Public Health win 🧐Includes adults & youth. I started as a teenager, if it was less harmful nicotine products then I could have avoided a lot of health issues associated with cigarettes.

The cowards and reality deniers at the American Cancer Society (@ACSNews and @ACSCAN) hid my post pointing out their misinformation and that they no longer seem to care about cancer. Here it is again. teapawt.org/Clive_Bates/status/211… You can burn your reputation, but you can't hide it.
Since 2021, the @FDA has authorized 65 new flavored tobacco products—including e-cigarettes and nicotine pouches that appeal to kids. That’s 65 times @FDATobacco has put Big Tobacco’s profits ahead of protecting kids. We’re keeping score.

I report this bot to "X" every day. Please do the same. Every day it posts the same lie claiming "high rates of youth vaping and nicotine use." It is impervious to Health Canada survey evidence. No sane person would call this "high rates." health-infobase.canada.ca/su…

Luckily, that's changing. It is changing despite @AmericanCancer Society's best efforts to discourage people smoke from quitting by vaping. Adult Use (CDC): ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/article…; cdc.gov/nchs/data/series/sr_… Lung cancer (NIH/NCI): seer.cancer.gov/statfacts/ht…
