Founder life:
Monday: we're dead
Tuesday: we're so back
Wednesday: dead again
Thursday: one customer said yes
Friday: we are going to be a trillion dollar company
If you want something you will have it.
If you ever find yourself saying you “cant” it’s your brain telling you that you don’t actually want it bad enough.
Anyone know a killer spending more than $1m/m on one account** on Meta?
Ideally on a B2B SaaS / non info funnel

i broke this video down into 15 steps.
how Wispr Flow runs paid ads:
1. treat self-serve B2B like consumer marketing. if one person can buy the product, the ad shouldn’t feel like it was made for a 6-person buying committee.
2. steal from consumer ads. 75% of Wispr’s top 8 ads by spend were creator videos.
3. launch a LOT of creative. Wispr pushes ~500 new ads a month, and Eric says his job is now ~80% creative ops and 20% media buying.
4. keep 15-25% of spend for testing and put the rest behind proven winners.
5. tag every ad before launch by concept, angle, persona, awareness level, and format so you know WHY something worked.
6. when a concept + angle + persona combination wins, make 10 new executions around it instead of starting from zero.
7. test genuinely different concepts, not 10 tiny variations of the same ad. Meta needs new signals, not different colored versions of one idea.
8. stop judging ads by hook rate alone. hook means nothing if everyone leaves immediately after.
9. one Wispr ad had a 39.5% 3-second hook rate but only 14.3% made it to 25% of the video, so it still burned money.
10. score ads across hook, hold, CTR, and CPM instead of letting one metric decide what gets scaled.
11. build a creative leaderboard. Wispr uses a “Banger Score” so everyone can see which ads are actually outperforming.
12. make ads about things people already care about. one winner used Claude, Mac shortcuts, and an In-N-Out vs Shake Shack joke before getting into the product.
13. trust server-side conversion data over whatever Meta says it generated, especially when you’re selling B2B SaaS.
14. automate repetitive media-buying work with AI + APIs so your team can spend more time making better creative.
15. keep every learning in one shared marketing system so each experiment makes the next experiment smarter.

Being a fat rich nigga disqualifies every dollar you ever made
Being a bad son (spending money on your parents doesn’t count as being a good son) disqualifies every dollar u ever made
Cheating on your wife disqualifies every dollar u ever made
Being a bad father disqualifies every dollar u ever made
To bad have hygiene disqualifies every dollar u ever made
To not be generous with your money disqualifies every dollar you ever made
These are ideas I didn’t always hold. Things have changed a lot for me. It’s important to focus on life. Not money. Money is a small piece of the pie

Counterintuitively
The busier a person is, the QUICKER they do small things
They do not let them pile up
It’s always the people who have too much ego to recognize someone doing better than them and ask the questions that would without a doubt get them to where they want to be who complain about being stuck the most.
Be curious
Ask questions
Brutally murder your ego
and watch how the dollars suddenly flow in.
There’s a certain feeling you get where you feel liberated from the loop of the day to day and writing, ideation, and innovation flows seamlessly
Whoever can figure out an app or tool to unlock this state at will has a billion dollar product in their hands
The one thing that separates exceptional teams from great teams is always knowing what people are doing.
Having excellent accountability & visibility systems never leave you questioning what someone is working on even without having to directly ask them.
You should be able to check at any time what someone’s focuses and priorities are and be able to realign those if need be.
Without this orgs tend to overhire and responsibility gets diffused with no leading indicator before it’s too late and $400k in payroll + 2 months are lit on fire
it’s so funny watching all the people who have absolutely no actual idea what they’re talking about out themselves as non ball knowers every time one of these comes out and they start spamming their entire timeline about it
“astra is so good”
“fable changed my life”
“grokbot made me a mil”
my brother in christ they all do the same thing
open source is still king
pick one or two MAX, build self learning + context systems around it and put the fries in the bag
shiny object syndrome hitting everyone with personal ai assistants
here is quick summary for navigating everything
grok bot currently most capable for work and non technical setup
muse - mass market play, fun product, girls love it, for the sake of marketing good to understand
dots - idk wtf open ai is doing with this product
but the true winner is still the open source product
hermes still goated, yes it requires a bit of technical setup, currently lacks an "app" but if setup correctly it is massivley ahead of these other products
they are currently just losing out due to what the market thinks is a complex setup
marketing is 100x more important than sales
sales matters obviously, its what collects cash
but great marketing, psychological triggers, a banger offer and pre sales call nurturing
can make sales as easy as taking an order
ideally you get SO GOOD at marketing u could put a 70iq monkey on sales calls and still collect cash

Tbh you don't see much of me or sam either.
I'd honestly bet ya gary is making more than ever.
Personal brands for the most part are short lived and stupid. Outside few exceptions like the hormozis who absolutely maximized every inch of it.
Alex uses the brand to bring in aquisitions/deals/etc VS most people selling agency services/info.
For people like me or sam , its nearly a waste of time. Its better to focus on the software company.
I'd assume Gary is in a similar situation. You dont see neil patel much either, his agency is doing hundreds of millions.
To repeat : Judging by person brand. Goofy. 97% of really rich guys have no online brand.
