The kids didn’t sign up for this. When my dad was the DC at Nebraska, my family had to deal with all kinds of harassment.
Every time my brother had the ball in his hands at Lincoln Southwest, the fans chanted fire Cosgrove.
We had the FBI deal with death threats.
My sister didn’t feel comfortable going to school because of the harassment.
This whole thing is sad. The “best fans in college football” need to do better.

It astounds me how so many people who view CT as the epitome of manliness and toughness also treat him as a creature who needs to put in bubble wrap when it comes to criticism.
Nobody on the show even comes at him in a personal way and yet fans are ripping their hair out.
Do CT fans that say the show will get cancelled without him bc “he is The Challenge” understand how bad that makes the show look in 2026? Or do they live in a permanent state of delusional psychosis. This is his 3rd season in a row showing up like a walrus #TheChallenge42

I’ve always thought the “Home Run Derby ruins the swing” take was a bit overblown.
After Witt was in the Derby, he OPS’d 1.054 in the second half.
Some guys are better in the second half, some worse. No exact science.
