Tom Culshaw, Why He’s a Strong Set-Piece Coach Option By Ross Anderson • Proven at Rangers already Culshaw was the technical coach during Steven Gerrard’s time here and handled a big part of the set-piece work, which contributed to our 55th league title and seen us concede just 13 goals in the league which is a British record and right now we are conceding goals from set pieces and Culshaw can 100% help improve us not just defensively but also offensively with Raskin already showing he is good at attacking the ball and with better structure it is something we can build on • Gerrard openly credited him After the Kilmarnock win in the opening day of the 2019/20 season where Goldson scored the winner from a corner Gerrard said Culshaw puts “a lot of effort into our set-pieces” and deserved credit for goals scored from dead balls. • Players backed it up Tavernier has mentioned Culshaw “getting his book out” on set-plays after we defeated Osijek in our europa cup qualifiers, he clearly plans, drills and rehearses routines properly in training • UEFA Pro Licence He’s fully qualified at the top level and has experience in Liverpools Academy before us and now has EPL experience being a part of Gerrards backroom staff at Aston Villa • Modern, detail-driven coach He specialises in: attacking routines defensive shape on corners second-ball organisation clear individual roles repetition and detail • Realistic and effective for Rangers What is everyone’s thoughts? Is a Tom Culshaw return something you’re all interested in? Do you think he will work under Danny Rohl and can his experience being a part of a title winning set up be valuable

“Apprehending violent and dangerous criminals is a full contact and messy task which may appear shocking to observers with little experience of policing in the real world.” Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley writes to Zack Polanski.
