Congratulations to @AlvinTedjo on his historic victory tonight 👏🏽👏🏽
WOW!
Congrats @AlvinTedjo
You’ve got this. And you earned it as the person who went high with real energy and positivity.

An "anti-stupidity activist" is too stupid to know that a Canadian passport and an Ontario health card are not proof of address.
Too funny, and rightfully is getting ratioed and mocked for being so stupid.
I was just turned away from voting in Toronto's municipal election even after presenting my voting reminder card with my name and address on it, my passport, and my Ontario health card -- unacceptable
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Voter information cards and passports are explicitly not acceptable ID for Toronto municipal elections, which require one piece showing name and qualifying address; health cards are accepted only in specific qualifying forms.

Conservatives around the world (including Canada) are obsessed with "election fraud," proposing measures to make voting more difficult.
But then there are Conservatives like the one below, who have no idea what ID to bring when voting.
. @dianefrancis1 claims to be an "anti-stupidity" activist
But then says it is "unacceptable" (her word) that you need to show ID with your address on it to vote in the proper riding.

Replying to @dianefrancis1
. @dianefrancis1 - you need to submit ID that has your ADDRESS on it
Passport & OHIP DO NOT have an address on either. Do your homework before voting

I always find it weird when my random thoughts (like this one ⏬️ )
Touches a nerve with so many people
David Eby forgot this simple rule in politics - when your opponent is imploding, you get out of the way and let them implode.
Instead he gave them a reason (the election) to get their act together. @Red_Toryism

When the Harper Conservatives were in power federally, the Liberals swept provincial elections - that is how Canadians like it @canadarescue401
David Eby hates Fleetwood Mac?
These pyrotechnics plus Lorne Doerkson taking the stage as Fleetwood Mac (a band David Eby hates) sang out “yesterday’s gone, yesterday’s gone” made for some A+ audio and visuals at B.C. Conservative HQ last night. #bcpoli
I feel like we are back in the 90s when Canada was in a Conservative mindset, and progressives politics took a backseat @Red_Toryism

Have you noticed how quiet some of the so-called conservative influencers have been about the Conservative victory in British Columbia?
No applause. No celebration.
Some even went so far as to call the B.C. Conservatives “left-wing.”
You would think people who champion conservatism would welcome a Conservative victory.
It makes you wonder: is their enthusiasm driven by conservative principles, or does it require a paycheque?

Unless we have a situation where all of Canada wants to flip the bird at the liberal government with their vote
I don't think Poilievre stands a chance @Red_Toryism
When progressives stay home, Conservatives win
⏬️ exactly how Carney campaigned in 2025 - maybe Eby should've done that, instead of making it about #mapleMAGA
There are those people that are good at policy, but suck at politics
This ⏫️ above describes David Eby
