Guy Priley

I’ve been planning on doing a thread on celebrities from my home state of Minnesota, and finally got around to it. There are some well known ones and some I had no idea on. And there were more than I thought.

Day 17: Favorite Film Noir shot on location: The LA location shots of CRISS CROSS are so good. #NoirvemberChallenge

Is this noir, or a fast food order? #TCMParty #NoirAlley #TheBigCombo

#NowWatching MONA LISA 🥃 #Noirvember

Damn, that voice. #TCMParty #JailhouseRock

The biggest crime committed in this is cutting his wonderful hair. #TCMParty #JailhouseRock

Elvis could have been a huge star, if only he had talent, good looks, charm, and charisma. #TCMParty #JailhouseRock

Day 16: Favorite Film Noir cabbie: Easy, the cabbie in THE BIG SLEEP. I wish I had a cabbie like her. #NoirvemberChallenge

#NowWatching MILLER’S CROSSING, another new to me Coen Brothers film.

He was so good on The Mary Tyler Moore Show, probably the only person who couldn’t get upstaged by Ted Knight.

Day 15: Sexiest Film Noir: I have to go with a neo-noir in BODY HEAT #NoirvemberChallenge

Day 14: Favorite Film Noir character actor: I’ll go with Dan Duryea. So many great roles. #NoirvemberChallenge

Her spying technique is similar to her shoplifting technique in BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY’S. #TCMParty #Charade

Wondering how many people are left. #TCMParty #Charade

Day 13: Favorite Film Noir femme fatale: So many I could choose, but I’m going with Ellen in LEAVE HER TO HEAVEN. #NoirvemberChallenge

Day 12: Scene in a Film Moir that moves you: Moe’s death in PICKUP ON SOUTH STREET #NoirvemberChallenge

Day 11: Favorite Film Noir couple: There are so many, but Bogie and Bacall in THE BIG SLEEP. Sizzling chemistry. 🔥 #NoirvemberChallenge

I really like Paul Meurisse as the inspector. The only other film I’ve seen with him is DIABOLIQUE. #TCMParty #NoirAlley #LeDeuxièmeSouffle

This is my first viewing of #LeDeuxiemeSouffle. Bring me the French noir. #TCMParty #NoirAlley #Noirvember

Day 10: FavoriteFilm Noir MacGuffin: The Maltese Falcon in THE MALTESE FALCON #NoirvemberChallenge
