HakiOS 2.3.4 is out What’s new: • Better compatibility with other devices: each port now has its own Metal settings, and unknown SoCs and GPUs are handled safely. Not tested on other phones yet. • Graphics fixes: no more red top on the default wallpaper, no white band under the status bar, and widgets draw correctly. • Faster touch response: finger lift is now detected in about 5 ms instead of up to 169 ms. • No more shaking on a still screen. • The Metal engine now lives in the kernel repo, so one clone builds everything. another huge hakiOS update is dropping this month. we’ve made some crazy progress with apple id authentication on our iOS 16.5 port. 2FA works, GrandSlam tokens are saved, and apple id accounts now stay active in the system. all of this on hardware without a real secure enclave. insane low-level work. icloud and app store still have some walls left, but we’re getting closer with every update. and trust me, apple id isn’t the only thing we’ve been cooking. more fixes, more features, more source code. we’re not slowing down. november is gonna be wild. stay tuned.
