It feels the wordpress plugin and theme spaced is totally f-ed. I'm still using wp but claude's doing everything for me.
these theme businesses were huge. But seem unnecessary now and will be demolished. same with many plugins.
are yall still using wp or just making your own site?
I like using wp for security stuff but also its just what i know.

One prompt: improve the homepage copy and set this image as the new logo.
Claude rewrote the copy as proper Gutenberg blocks, fixed some links and set the logo in Site Identity, not just on one page.

it outputs a MARKDOWN file that is then just permanently injected in your context for that project
so much for META NEUROSYMBOLIC AI WITH CONTINUAL LEARNING WITH REFLECTIVE CONTEXT ENGINEERING and you put a jargon random math looking thing so you look competent
you want to continue lying to your customers with this jargon? go wild, telling me a pi extension caused hundreds of thousands of dollars in losses when it's a literal curl command and PINNING it on me is insane

I built my business on WordPress, so maybe this is a little personal for me. With everything happening around A8C now, I appreciate even more that @photomatt kept WP org outside of the company and its investors.
Matt had 20+ years to make a lot more money from WordPress if that was what he wanted. He could have put commercial gates everywhere, taken cuts from the ecosystem, or structured it in a way where eventually investors control everything. But he didn't.
Matt is not perfect. I disagreed with some of his decisions too. But that doesn't change what he has done for WordPress and open source for 20+ years. I really don't think WordPress would be what it is today without him.
I will always be grateful to Matt for keeping WordPress this way. Wishing you all the best, @photomatt

Prediction: Deepseek v4 flash will take over Claude as the no.1 winner in market share. It's the biggest story of 2026! Three reasons:
1. It's so cheap. 100x cheaper in unit token pricing.
2. It's so fast. Much much faster than Claude. My vibe check is around 2-3x faster.
3. It's so cache-efficient: most of my tokens spent are in cache read, and cache input pricing are $0.5/Mt Opus 5 v.s. $0.0028/Mt Deepseek.
Deepseek has a much higher cache hit rate, which means the overall effective cost per task could be upwards of 500x cheaper.
For something that's 500x cheaper AND 2-3x faster per task, why wouldn't Deepseek V4 Flash win.
This was my approach with every model, I am surprised when people aren’t even trying.
