I was in then Gosport Wetherspoons this afternoon and a big cheer went up when the manager announced that the racist drunks from the demo had been barred from entering.

The man who went on a 20-minute killing spree yesterday "congratulated himself on having "avenged the shopkeepers" by attacking "blacks and Arabs" says Le Monde. He was acting on the vile racism from the mainstream. He had a copy of Mein Kampf at home. lemonde.fr/societe/article/2…

Pleased to sign this cross-party letter opposing Rosebank and Jackdaw licences. The long term costs of new drilling far outweigh any short-term gain. We cannot credibly urge other countries to leave fossil fuels in the ground while greenlighting new oil and gas projects.

What an embarrassing afternoon for Reform UK. Farage and Jenrick unveiled their economic plans to a half-empty hall in central London. Asked about the empty seats, Farage first blamed “staff incompetence”, then suggested the businessmen invited were simply too busy to attend. How disgraceful to publicly humiliate your own staff rather than take responsibility. An event meant to showcase Reform’s readiness for government instead showed how quickly Farage blames others when things go wrong. You just know what sort of man he is to work with. If he’s this willing to blame his staff publicly, who knows what kind of behaviour is going on behind closed doors.

I’ve just come off a Unison picket line for striking Camden traffic wardens. They were privatised by Camden Council years ago. I was on their picket lines in 2012. They work 42.5 hours a week on low pay. They are striking for an extra £2 an hour and to have their leave entitlement the same as the council workers, which means an extra 7 days. The company is NSL, whose top manager is on £619,000 - £330 an hour. Some wonderful supporter brought a solidarity chocolate cake to the picket line. The traffic warden service should be brought back in house. Solidarity. @unisontheunion

Can anyone else hear that echo… echo… echo? 😂 Even the tumbleweed couldn’t be bothered to turn up.
It seems to have been a struggle to find volunteers to fill the room for Reform UK’s pre-Budget announcement today. Watch now on @GBNEWS.

Oh dear. Not only is Reform with their dodgy finances crashing in the polls, nobody can be bothered to actually turn up for Jenrick's budget speech 👇 It's not the biggest of rooms 🤡and it's not even ℎ𝑎𝑙𝑓 full 😀

I just caught the start of a BBC radio news bulletin, and it started with what Reform say. They have eight members of parliament. This isn't public service broadcasting, it is manufacturing consent for a Reform government that wants to deport our family, friends, and neighbours.

Join us on Tuesday evening for the march against austerity. Too long our services have been underfunded, we've been underpaid, and our NHS allowed to deteriorated. We don't accept it! Time to stand up. #MarchAgainstAusterity #BudgetDay
