☀️ BTW, we have complete solutions for solar mining farms (2nd pic.) — partners welcome! 🤝
Home mining is different: batteries are a hurdle, and indoor miners can’t handle outdoor exposure. A practical option: portable panels on a lawn or balcony powering a solo miner with free solar energy. ⚡
☀️⛏️ Hammer Solar Package for THOR P2!
300W solar panel + Hammer MPPT — all in one 3D-printed stand 🖨️🔧
🌍 World's FIRST MPPT that runs a miner with NO battery needed! 4 ports on the MPPT 🔌:
1️⃣ DC IN — plug in P2 PSU; barely draws grid power when solar is live ⚡
2️⃣ PV IN — hook up your solar panel ☀️
3️⃣ Battery — optional! Solar charging for stable outdoor power 🏕️ (use mains indoors instead)
4️⃣ Load — straight to your miner: THOR P2 ⛏️
Mine with the sun 🌞💰
To clarify the two setups:
1️⃣Outdoor, battery-free: Solar panels power the miner directly, so it shuts down without sunlight. MPPT protects against voltage surges. Adding a battery improves stability and stores excess solar energy. Attach the video below shows only this setup to avoid confusion.
2️⃣Indoor: Place the solar panels outside and run a cable to your desk. Connect to mains power for 24/7 mining, while using solar energy whenever available to reduce grid consumption.

Here's an example of changing the theme 🎨👇
🧊 B30 tubo mode 🌬️ we've got the FAN speed configured at 60%, since the noise level is already a bit higher.
🔊Of course, we could push the FAN speed higher to boost efficiency ⚡ and even lower the power draw 📉 — but the noise would go up too 🤷♂️ trade-offs!
Shout to @HobbyistMiner on the detail test, and we are humble to listen to the marketing voice.
🚨 The NEW Harlo B30 might be one of the most impressive Home Bitcoin Miners I've tested in 2026!
👀But forget the marketing numbers for a second… What does this thing ACTUALLY deliver when you plug it into the wall?
Huge shoutout to the team at @Heliumdeploy for sending over the brand-new Harlo Labs B30 for some REAL-WORLD TESTING!
📺Watch the Full Unboxing, Setup, Review & Testing ➡️ youtu.be/iYhP-UHTs-Q
I spent several hours putting this miner through its paces, testing all 3 power modes, measuring actual watts at the wall, comparing efficiency, and even swapping the firmware over to HarloOS.
🔥And I've got to say… the results surprised me!
📊 MY REAL-WORLD TEST RESULTS (HarloOS)
🟢 LOW / ECO MODE
⚡ Hashrate: 12.3 TH/s
🔌 Power Consumption: 156 Watts
📈 Efficiency: 12.68 J/TH
🟡 MEDIUM / BALANCED MODE
⚡ Hashrate: 24.4 TH/s
🔌 Power Consumption: 328 Watts
📈 Efficiency: 13.44 J/TH
🔴 HIGH / TURBO MODE
⚡ Hashrate: 30.6 TH/s
🔌 Power Consumption: 486 Watts
📈 Efficiency: 15.88 J/TH
Now here's where things get REALLY interesting!
Helium Deploy advertises the B30 at 30 TH/s while consuming 485 Watts in Turbo Mode.
My testing? 30.6 TH/s at just 486 Watts!
That's slightly MORE hashrate than advertised while practically matching the advertised power consumption!
And in Balanced Mode, we're talking 24.4 TH/s at 328 Watts, compared to the advertised 24 TH/s at 350 Watts.
Not too shabby!
But the BIGGEST surprise for me was actually the firmware.
Out of the box, the miner was running a different operating system, GLOD-OS, and during my initial Turbo testing, I saw power consumption climb to approximately 510 Watts after 25 mins, finally breaking 30 TH/s.
After installing HarloOS? We were hitting 30 TH/s much faster, and my final testing came in at just 486 Watts with 30.6 TH/s!
Even the HarloOS firmware's estimated power consumption was incredibly close to what I measured at the wall across all three modes.
Now, there IS a tradeoff. Running Turbo with HarloOS pushed noise levels up to around 71–72 dB during testing. So if you're planning to run this in a living space, that's definitely something to consider.
The great news? You have options! Different power modes, adjustable fans, multiple mining pools, scheduling, and plenty of customization.
That's what makes this miner so interesting for home Bitcoin mining.
🏠You can prioritize maximum hashrate, dial things back for better efficiency, or potentially put that heat to good use during the colder months.
📊 Check out the graphic below! I put together a full comparison of my REAL-WORLD results against both the HarloOS firmware settings and Helium Deploy's advertised specifications.
💬 What do you think? Would you run the Harlo B30 at 30+ TH/s, or would you sacrifice some hashrate for better efficiency and lower power consumption?

🚀 First batch B30 is very close to EXW! We're working around the clock on it ⛏️🔥
Huge thanks to @HarloLabs for the detailed review! 🙏
A few quick notes 👇
1️⃣ Switching modes on Stock Hammer OS needs no restart — but for Customized Mode, we recommend a quick reboot, just in case your config hasn't been fully tested by us 🔄
2️⃣ Two independent hashrate boards — configure each one separately ⚙️⚙️
3️⃣ Turbo Mode is a bit noisy 🌀 — we have to squeeze ~30T within the efficiency budget in such a small box! But Balanced & Eco Mode? Super quiet 🤫 — quieter than your air conditioner ❄️😉

The Thor P2 was released in late July 2026, making it a very recent model. It is equipped with two next-generation BM1373 chips, rated at 10 TH/s.
First off, the machine arrived very well-packaged in a foam insert, so everything was stable and secure for transport! Inside the box were the Thor P2 and the power supply model GM-H250S12 manufactured by ShenZhen Qilink Tech. It's the same power supply model I received with my @hammerminer BC04s, so I already know it works very well; I haven't had any problems with this model so far.
The first thing we notice is the large ARGB fan mounted on a 120mm eight-heat-pipe tower, covering practically the entire front of the Thor P2. It is the largest pre-installed fan I have ever seen on a desktop miner, so it looks impressive. There is no fan at the rear, but there is plenty of space to add one if needed. A great design improvement is that the XT60 connector and Ethernet port are located at the bottom right. Previous designs placed these components at the top, making cable management a nightmare when using multiple machines; having them at the bottom now makes cable management much easier! The screen is a LilyGO T-Display S3, a well-known ESP32 module. This is an important point, as it is the same board that runs the operating system, not just the display !
The initial startup of the Thor P2 is standard; if you are familiar with the startup process of a NerdQaxe, it is exactly the same procedure—though the Thor P2 came with Thor OS installed when we received the unit. That said, Helium Deploy is now shipping it with Harlo OS—@HarloLabs new operating system—pre-installed!
Once the initial startup procedure is complete, you land directly in Thor OS. It is very easy to navigate, and the settings offer three mining modes: Normal, Overclock, and Custom. "Overclock" mode is selected by default, so, this is the mode that should give us the advertised 10 TH/s.
I conducted the first four days of testing in Overclock mode. After three days, the average hashrate at the pool was 9.8 TH/s, and power consumption at the wall read 155 watts. ASIC temperatures were around 45 degrees Celsius and VRM temperatures around 60 degrees Celsius; so far, so good—the efficiency is actually quite impressive. On the fourth day of Overclock mode, the outside temperature was very high, which turned out to be a great opportunity to check the machine's thermal performance! ASIC temperatures remained at safe levels between 60 and 65. However, the VRM temperature climbed to 83°C. While not dangerous, that is a temperature that requires monitoring. At that point, the fan was in "automatic" mode and not running at 100%, so I switched to manual mode and set the fan to 100%; the VRM temperature returned to 72 degrees Celsius, a normal level! So, mission accomplished for the large fan—it successfully cools all sensitive components, even in very hot conditions!
I carried out the remaining tests—spanning three days—in normal mode. This mode drops the hashrate to approximately 4 TH/s with a power draw of 74 watts at the wall. The ASIC temperatures held around 30°C and the VRM at 40°C with the fan set to manual mode at 100%. So, the automatic fan control mode can be used without any issues. However, I’ve seen other influencers report higher figures for "Normal" mode—around 6 TH/s—so the unit I received was likely configured differently. In any case, I see no point in using that mode, as it works very well in "Overclock" mode, even in hot external temperatures.
A reminder: using "Custom mode" to push the overclock higher than the "Overclock" mode defined by @hammerminer is done at your own risk and will void your warranty if problems arise.
I ran tests in the living room all week; regarding noise, it is very quiet (Around 45 dB) and doesn't disrupt normal activities like watching TV, listening to music, or talking with others.
As for the heat output, it is very mild—a single machine wouldn't be enough to heat a room! Models with the BM1373 chip definitely move away from the idea of heat recovery, though—let's be honest—that isn't really a problem.
One cool feature of the THOR P2 is the ARGB fan, which allows you to change light colors and light modes. It provides lovely ambient lighting in the living room—I love it, and this unit is staying in my living room for that reason alone!
Final verdict: This machine is definitely suitable for mining at home or in an apartment without issues! It is powerful, energy-efficient, and very quiet—three vital criteria for a viable home mining machine!
The machine currently sells for $449 on the @HeliumDeploy website—a bit pricier than other models in the same category on the site—but one thing I can say from experience is that @hammerminer is well known for the quality of the machines they build; they use high-quality components, so you can be sure you're getting good value for your money! I definitely recommend it!
