Heejae was haunted by the ghost of the manager, unable to even remember his face or find a single picture of him. Now he has professional and private recordings, videos and pictures of and with Garam. I bet he plays them obsessively like he did before with Garam's Jeux d'eau
I think Heejae is quiet and even more of an recluse now. If he attends public events for his career, he might exchange niceties but otherwise keeps to himself and doesn't talk much. He might also not even be as sassy and arrogant anymore and mostly smokes and drinks by himself
I am sure Heejae obsessively kept on playing all the recordings of Garam's performances, esp. his private recordings.
I am also leaning towards the theory that he didn't reach out to Garam to not cause him any more pain because Garam leaving made him believe even more that he
once again affirmed by their final fight, Garam's words and his parting message.
I am intrigued how they might come into contact again. Maybe Garam finds the strength to play the piano again, maybe in public like when they were in uni and Youngjo wasn't paying attention to him +
So my prediction for next chapter is that Heejae lived on, played his concerts and went to the networking dinners because that's just what he does and the appearance he has to hold up. Behind closed doors I am sure he kept composing but never showing his compositions to the world
Heejae made it his mission to find a gem and SPECIFICALLY to present it to the world and basically brag that he polished this gem and it's sound to perfection. and then he not only looses said gem but also robs the world of the beautiful sound he was desperate to reproduce
