Q. stays consider han’s music its own genre, calling it “hanpop”. you don’t let even emotions that are easy to overlook simply pass by, instead using them as material for your music. how do you turn those emotions into music? 🐿: i’m a very spontaneous person. perhaps that’s why i find it somewhat easy to incorporate the emotions of a moment into a song. the word “emotion” isn’t enough to define everything we feel. even within happiness or sadness, there are so many unnamed emotions. whenever i feel those emotions, i jot down the phrases that come to mind in my notes app, or open my laptop and try them out against a track that fits. then, if i think, “oh, should i try working on this?” i sometimes add melodies to the notes i’ve written down like a diary. i don’t have my own system. i make songs in a different way every time (laughs) #HANxDAZEDKOREA #HANxCANADAGOOSE
