While I was using @bot in my @Tesla tonight my daughter said “If @elonmusk was really smart, he’d put Jarvis’ voice as an option for Grok bots.”

This just completely changed the value proposition on these bots, immediately rocketing @bot to first. My commute in my Tesla just got a lot more valuable

Important note regarding Grok @Bot: Going forward, @SpaceX will use the best back end model for any given task, including Claude Opus 5.5, MidJourney, Suno and other leading APIs. Whatever is most likely to give you the best outcome.

It makes so much sense for @ChatGPT to offer extreme value over API prices but at a slower token rate to subscribers. What we've been experiencing couldn't be sustained, but now we get the cutting edge intelligence at lower speeds that do more...or faster and less. And if you really need the best and fastest, pay API.

FWIW I hope that @OpenAI drops a $500 ProMax plan, AND I hope that we get more efficiencies. Current $200 plan last for a day or two max with pretty much any productivity workflow me or even my kids in high school throw it. We need more.

What is effort really? When do you change it it and why not just use max effort for everything? I dove deep into this problem, looking into evals and doing my own tests and I was quite surprised by the results.

what the heck? I've been working all morning with Claude Opus 5.5 Max, and my limit has moved by 1%. I've been working with Astra 6 at mediumover same time and am down 17%. Different tasks; not 1:1 scientific, but blows me away how everything just flipped overnight.

Oh my goodness, @claudeai is back! Opus 5.5 is performing amazingly at everything I'm throwing at it and just sipping limits! Everything just changed. @thsottiaux even got them to give us a reset. Let's see what @OpenAI comes up with today. And @grok is actually doing some decent with with 4.7 and got Grokbots in my @Tesla. It's been a good 24 hours. I love competition!

My @tesla fsd. tries to take the same dumb route every day. I have to override a specific turn and then it is fine. @elonmusk any way we can get FSD to learn our driving preferences and train it to take specific routes

whoa this actually worked! Jev lets me control my browser in real time with my voice now > i talk > transcript sent to Jev > jev returns probabilities in ~300ms > browser clicks costs: $0.0002 per decision i'm stunned how fast this is. when i asked it to "go back", it even finished the request before i finished my sentence 😂
