I think the main issue with the screw up on the BW500 this year is that now everyone is talking about someone's whiteness when it was suppose to put a lens on black wrestlers. There's so much discourse about someone's whiteness that Fightful wrote an "article" about it (no shade to Nixi, she ain't do anything wrong, and I got a chuckle out of it as well). And now what was supposed to at least highlight blackness is still overshadowed by whiteness. The list is subjective, so it's whatever, but we gotta do better research so the it actually achieves what I believe it was meant to - which is highlighting black talent.
