Historic Columbus has continued its investment in education through the Patricia Jackson Howard Scholarship, named in memory of our second executive director, Patti Howard.

Tristian Patterson also graduated from Columbus High School, where she maintained a 4.1 GPA and was actively involved in academics, leadership, and community service. She will attend Spelman College as a Biology major on the Pre-Med track.
We have officially broken ground at 5th Avenue in the Liberty Heritage Historic District, on the site that will be home to the Alma Thomas House Museum!
The ground was prepped last week, and a new foundation was poured over the weekend.
The Alma Thomas house will officially relocate from 411 21st Street to 5th Avenue TOMORROW!

Historic Columbus recently kicked off its 60th Anniversary with a special evening at historic Green Island Ranch. This incredible celebration also honored two long-time volunteers, Mary B. Bradley and Sally B. Hatcher.

April is Arts & Culture Month, which means it's time to celebrate ArtsFest!
ArtsFest is a month-long festival that celebrates the rich creative talent of #ColumbusGeorgia and the many arts organizations striving to captivate and inspire diverse audiences of all ages.
ArtsFest will run April 1-30. The festival will encompass more than 50 events from 20+ organizations, including more than 100 local artists and student exhibitions. It will feature a community-wide celebration on April 26 from noon to 5PM at Arts in the Park in Lakebottom Park.
