Thank you, @lakmalbuddika, for the feature!
Such hierarchical activity understanding is critical for context-aware interactive systems, like my PrISM research (rikky0611.github.io/projects…) , where how users conceptualize activities doesn't always align with what sensors can distinguish.
Excited to share more work in this direction soon!
For OrganicHAR, please refer to the followings.

What sensors can distinguish isn't always how we describe our activities.
Prasoon presented our work OrganicHAR at #UbiComp2026
Instead of forcing sensors to recognize predefined activities, OrganicHAR "discovers" activities that match what sensors can actually distinguish.
Simply by observing patterns in users' everyday activities. No predefined labels needed!
It's fascinating to see how OrganicHAR automatically adjusts the granularity of activity labels while maintaining recognition performance under different sensor settings.
Had a wonderful time visiting @IanArawjo and the Montréal HCI group today.
I really enjoyed the discussions!
Just wake up from the party last night?
Come to our health-sensing-intervention research talk (from 10am, Room132) happening soon!
Come and join us at the Auditorium from 11:15 for AI-Assisted Clinical Diagnosis and Reasoning session! 🤖❤️🩹 #CHI2026

Excited to share that our paper “Evidotes: Integrating Scientific Evidence and Anecdotes to Support Uncertainties Triggered by Peer Health Posts” received an Honorable Mention at CHI 2026! 🏅 #chi2026
Just found out our CHI 2023 work "CatAlyst", which designs an intervention to prevent procrastination, was mentioned in a Forbes article.
Discovered it, of course, while procrastinating on my current project...🫠
