Can’t commit to a treat trolley? Try treat pouches instead! Staff take everything out and return the pouch to be refilled! I do these once per month as a random surprise!
We made it the first full week with students! Walking around this afternoon surprise for all staff today so they can start their weekend remembering they are appreciated. @CalvertEnt1 @KSPrincipals
Back to school! Gifts laid out the night before and a school supply charcuterie table for all staff to grab what they need. Oh, and of course, a dirty soda bar! @KSPrincipals
If you haven’t looked into the impact that your gut biome has on your overall health - please do! The impact that helping your body with supplements can have will shock you - and you will feel so much better! DM me if you want to learn more!
Back to school prep….admin style! First day back to work and first day with student gifts are ready!
YES! We have to stop over scaffolding and giving students the answers.
Students do not build persistence by having every obstacle removed.
They build it when the challenge is meaningful, support is available, and they are given enough time to wrestle with the learning before someone steps in with the answer.
Productive struggle is not about leaving students frustrated. It is about helping them discover that difficulty can be part of progress.
What helps your students keep going when learning gets hard?
Nothing makes teachers happier than being surprised with their favorite school supply! Check out my @DonorsChoose project: donorschoose.org/project/mak… or share my project! 💛💛
