Sigh. Bored of the smears, so I'll write this essay once.
It isn't about "rape being OK" and you know that. It's about the insistence that women be allowed to violate every imaginable social contract regarding sexual interaction with men, such as "clearly communicate consent."

A politician never seems more honest than when they are doing something they know will actively harm their career.

@PSA_Sitch Hate relitigating drama but figured you'd want to know for income purposes I just got denied a superchat because Adam shadowbanned me from the channel last week.
@PSA_Sitch I wanted to vent at Dev and Whick about the "Democrats are held accountable for the far left" complaint lol

The fact that the CATO institute removed 9/11 as an outlier event, but kept the Oklahoma city bombing which killed 168 people, nearly 50% of the "right-wing" portion of the chart tells me everything I need to know about what results they were aiming for from the jump

You can get six figure likes on a social media app for just the straight up laziest genocidal statement about men lmao. Imagine the likes these things could get if they could tell good jokes
Lmaoooooooo
This is why Republicans will not and should not listen to any of these vultures about censorship. They can't even pretend to hold a free speech principle for the span of a single tweet once it's their opponents getting shut down

a woman having an emotional affair with another man is actually way worse than a man sleeping with another woman
I love to be unifying in the wake of an assassination by accusing all of my opponents with the exact same word the assassin used to justify his murder
What really bothers me is anyone who watched this would see how ridiculous this framing is. Kimmel’s monologue was not only funny, but it featured a genuine and emotional outreach to people who have different views than him — and also contained a really lovely message about Erika Kirk. But NY Post and these right wing accounts don’t want people to hear his unifying message. That’s a threat to them. They are merchants of hate, doing everything they can to keep us divided.
It's very hard to condemn a rally like this when a huge amount of the country believes these three completely untrue things in justification of murdering a political figure

If this makes you angry, remember that Republicans would be behaving exactly this way if AOC were the one in the casket
If this delights you, remember they'd probably be correct in doing so
BREAKING: AOC just took to the House floor to defend her No vote on the Resolution honoring the life of Charlie Kirk.
This is going to make your blood boil.
AOC: "We should be clear about who Charlie Kirk was... His rhetoric and beliefs were ignorant, uneducated, and sought to disenfranchise millions of Americans."
"Far from the quote working tirelessly to promote unity, unquote, asserted by the majority in this resolution."
AOC is a VILE and DISGUSTING woman who just used Congress to push the SAME RHETORIC that incites violence against her political opposition.
She does NOT belong in the halls of Congress.
She can leave her supposed "prayers" at the front door, we know who you really are @AOC.
Men fuck off stop don't come back I choose the bear where have all the men gone stop approaching women why aren't these coward men approaching women kill all men why aren't men obsessed with women stop objectifying me someone better touch a boob or buy a drink it's not that hard

Jimmy Kimmel seems like an idiot with BlueSky brain, but let's not forget that Fox News lied so egregiously about how the election was stolen that they had to pay nearly a billion dollars over it... and the Biden admin never threatened Fox with removing their broadcast license.

>People STILL blaming video games for violence in 2025
Whether Tyler Robinson faces a firing squad in Utah for the murder of Charlie Kirk, my guess is the accused killer will probably have been motivated more by Halo and similar fantasy role-play than by substantive political discord. The game features Grunts vs Elites. I’m guessing nobody wants to be an elite.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Grunts (Unn'goy) serve under the Elites (Sangheli) as a part of a fictional alien interspecies alliance called the Covenant in the Halo franchise. Also, studies have exonerated video games for decades from the false claim that they make children violent.

I know it's shouting into the void at this point, but friendly reminder Pisco would call essentially all of Destiny's current speech violent incitement if it was spoken verbatim by a conservative. Imagine Pisco's reaction to Tim Pool saying "the left needs to be scared"
Ok this might be the actual first good result of the cancel culture war, Karen Attiah is an utterly vile racist and never deserved an editorial position at any major newspaper

Who do progressives think this "Mom, they started it!!" stuff is appealing to? Who is Mom? No benevolent authority is going to come punish conservatives for cracking down on free speech using techniques pioneered by progressives in the 2010s.
Replying to @Noahpinion
I take issue with you framing this as progressives starting it. Cancel culture's been a thing since way before our modern scene. Do we not remember the religious right of the 90's and even earlier, the Satanic Panic?

This has been the clear trajectory. They're not just going after the people who celebrated the murder -- they're going after people who criticized Kirk at all since his death. It's the wokest shit imaginable.

Great example of the comments that right wingers are now trying to get people fired over. Not comments that celebrate Kirk's death - the tweet literally says "He never should have been shot" - but comments that are critical of Kirk and say he shouldn't be nationally honored.
