Im a big proponent of bipartisanship and balance of power. Trump and MAGA ultimately hurt the republican party bad. Going to be tough to rebound from it. Unfortunately we are going to get a lot of overly progressive policy before people get tired of that and it balances out
That Oilers goal started bc someone on the @NJDevils just threw the puck across the ice in the neutral zone with nobody there and gave the puck away

I get so tired of guys putting blame on a guy that has nothing to do with it. This is in and out coverage AZ is outside. Brownlee inside all Brownlee had to do was take his drop and it’s picked off. Instead as I said yesterday he was horrible and stood there in no man’s land

It's remarkable how the #Jets can never seem to put everything together at the same time.
In 2022-23, they had a dominant defense but couldn't get competent QB play. Their kicking went from a strength in 2023 to a disaster in 2024. Special teams were elite in 2025, only to completely fall off in 2026.
And now, after decades of quarterback struggles, they finally have a solid one in Geno Smith, yet the rest of the team can't hold up its end of the bargain.
It's always one step forward, two steps back with this organization. Nothing ever comes together.
Agreed not sure if it was Vilma or someone else but I have no idea how you go for the FG there
After dominating the 1st half we are now going to shit the bed in the 2nd half. Smh. Im tired year after year of the same thing
so wait at "Full Gear" @AEW is doing "Blood and Guts" and "Anarchy in the Arena" and "Texas Death Match"???Do I have that right? One of my huge pet peeves... just totally dilutes their product. Its gonna be blood and crazy spots galore, who's going to remember it all?

I really think Darren Mougey deserves a third year as the #Jets' GM, and the more I look at his body of work, the more confident I feel about that.
Look, the record is awful. 5-19 is unacceptable. But when I evaluate Mougey individually, I see a GM who has done a pretty damn good job of building a young foundation and putting this franchise in a much better position for the future.
Look at the draft classes. Membou, Mason Taylor, AZ Thomas, David Bailey, Kenyon Sadiq, Omar Cooper Jr. All guys who have already shown legitimate promise, with several looking like long-term building blocks.
Then look at the value he's found elsewhere. Minkah Fitzpatrick for a seventh-round pick. T'Vondre Sweat for Jermaine Johnson. Dane Belton, Kingsley Enagbare, etc. He's consistently found ways to improve the roster without sacrificing significant resources.
And perhaps most importantly, look at the assets he's accumulated. Three first-round picks and a second for Sauce and Quinnen. The Jets are sitting on a ridiculous amount of draft capital with an opportunity to completely reshape this franchise.
I also like that Mougey recognized some of the flaws in his approach from Year 1 and adjusted. That's something I value in a GM.
There's still a lot he has to prove, especially when it comes to finding a franchise quarterback. But I think he's earned the opportunity to see this through and hire his own head coach.
The Jets have a lot of problems right now. I just don't think Mougey is near the top of that list.
I completely agree with Dillon here though I haven't been as happy with some of his early defensive play I think he can still be a huge asset esp since Kov and Siegs aren't always healthy
#NJDevils Brenden Dillon offered a lot of great insight for this piece, including some more clarity here:
I do feel we are much better than years prior but its not enough. Gotta finish games. We gotta win. Thats on the coaching staff.
Aaron Glenn says he understands the fans’ frustration, but he insists the team is headed in the right direction. #Jets
