Everyone at Heron is deeply saddened by the death of Diogo Jota and his brother Andre Silva. Diogo was a father, husband, son, teammate and friend and our thoughts are with them. He was also a hero to many young footballers who are struggling to understand the tragedy.
🟢🏆 The Heron presentation day is 2 weeks tomorrow! Held at Heron Eccles this is a free event with everyone welcome ⚽️
Fantastic Back to the Future sponsored walk by some of Heron players and coaches today raising funds for the club. From Bramley Moore to Goodison and Anfield and back again. Getting close to our fundraising target justgiving.com/crowdfunding/…
Our committee, like 99% of the rest of the inhabitants of our great city, are appalled by recent events. We wish to re-affirm our commitment that football is for all and should be a unifying event.
We will not stand for any instances of racist or confrontational behaviour and anyone found to be participating in such behaviour will be dealt with appropriately.
Football unites our great city, and should continue to do so for all the right reasons.
