I want to tell the story of how i got scammed and why i don’t care. I can admit I got fooled without being ashamed of what I hoped for... I want to see you win. I want to be there cheering you on. I love this community. I am here to for a lot of reasons: the fun, the memes, make friends, and to build together. But there's something even more important. I want to see you succeed. If you are building something real, I want to support it. That’s how I get hurt. And knowing what I know now, I still don't want to lose that part of myself. The project may not have been what people hoped, but the community's enthusiasm was genuine. We liked the idea of an ecosystem being built around us. Real products. Real businesses. Real brands. Real opportunities to support each other. There was something exciting about the possibility that somebody was actually building something. And we got to be part of the fun. I don't regret any of that. And I still believe in all of those things. Imagine what we could accomplish by supporting the people who are actually building things. Real things. But now I have a question. How do we protect ourselves from people who exploit our optimism without becoming a community that's afraid to trust, support, or believe in anyone?

I still remember the moments when Barking Puppy was created and formed. I had been looking for it for years. Even before it existed. The idea was inevitable. In 2021, as the GME events unfolded, outside forces destroyed what we had built. The communities and platforms stood against us. We became a fractured group. I felt lost and defeated. I knew the feeling was temporary. I held onto the hope that the community would rebuild. When I saw Barking Puppy, I recognized it right away. A community with a shared story. A place where the underdogs could howl together and bark together, backed by the Gills. In that moment I knew this was the place I had been waiting for. The first days were exciting and euphoric. Like meeting old friends you hadn’t seen in years and having a new clubhouse to hang out in. At the same time there was the shared mission to rebuild stronger. To become undeniable. To learn from what happened and create a fortress. The Infinite. We all felt ready to build that chapter. New clues and lore arrived almost every day. What a beautiful moment. We all knew it would be a lot of work. It was amazing how quickly the team put the foundation in place. A community designed different.
