Aaron Rodgers called out the league office from Paris. Cam Skattebo just finished the sentence in Houston. "The NFL loves to post me when I do stuff like that, but then also wants to take stuff from me... If I continue to get fined, guess I’m going to play for free." In one sentence, a young running back exposed the entire corporate racket: The league's marketing arm chops up punishing, violent hits to harvest tens of millions of views on social media and sell primetime ad slots. Then on Monday morning, Park Avenue sends down a five-figure fine to penalize the very product they just monetized. They want the barbaric violence for their highlight reels, but moral cover on their balance sheet. Rodgers doesn't care about fines because he's made hundreds of millions. Skattebo is speaking for the guys who take the physical toll while the front office cashes checks on both ends.

Prime Video’s Patriots-Bears game averaged 19.86 million viewers. That's the second most-watched TNF on Prime game ever behind last season's Christmas night game between the Broncos and Chiefs (21.1M) Prime says Thursday's game is the most-watched Week 7 game on record across the history of the Thursday Night Football package, beating the previous mark set in 2015 by +16%. Big number.

Congresswoman Ilhan Omar writes in her memoir, “I was eight years old when civil war broke out in Somalia. One day everything was okay, and the next, there were bullets piercing not only buildings but also people.” While Somalia has suffered several civil wars, the chapter is entitled, “War: 1989-1991, Mogadishu, Somalia.” Mogadishu experienced severe riots in July 1989, including a mass execution that became known as the “Jazeera beach massacre.” If, in her own words in her own autobiography, Omar was eight when this occurred in 1989, then she was born in 1981, and was 19 years old in the year 2000, when her father purportedly obtained his citizenship, not 1982 as she currently claims.

This is a clinic in brand marketing by a young brand. So cool he bought them himself!
Caddix responded Caleb Williams’ $11K NFL fine, saying the Bears QB bought the cleats himself and has no endorsement deal with the brand. The brand will also cover the fine. 📸: Getty via: Linkedin

It’s been a memorable 4 years
Four years ago today, Elon Musk bought Twitter. Liberals lost their minds because they knew they were losing control of their ability to shape the narrative. Today, X is the #1 source of news in the world and it’s the legacy "news" media on life support.

Finally finished the Nick Saban documentary on ESPN. 29 losses in 17 seasons at Alabama. 6 National Titles. Every player he recruited who stayed four years winning a ring. We’ll never see that kind of dominance again in college football.

Four years ago today. This was the most important move for free and uninhibited speech in the 21st century. The ripple effect is still cascading around the world.

Weird. I thought someone fixed health care. What happened?

Great interview with Behn Wilson this morning for our Stadium Documentary. He talked about the home ice advantage the Stadium provided. And here is an unsolicited plug for his book...it's well worth purchasing. I loved it.

Dear friend David Moulton has passed. We arrived together in SW Florida at the millennium, sharing Sports Anchor duties at the ABC/NBC stations there for a half decade... & have shared an unbreakable bond ever since. Always my big brother in sportscasting.

importantly though, he was a great friend, husband and father. The way he talked about his wife and daughter, let you in on what a wonderful person he was. If you were in his inner circle, there wasn’t anything he would not do for you. I miss everything about what we did

We spent together Monday - Friday was the most fun you could have “working.” He would always say, “It beats working for a living.” Did it ever! David was a sports encyclopedia. His recall of games, players and events was unlike any person I have ever come across. More
