Not loving this journalism trend crediting Taylor for political victories when she hasn’t said anything whatsoever about much of anything this entire decade

The American people have made their voices heard.
The 120th Congress will officially be the GAYEST Congress in history! (that we know of)
Let's get to work 🇺🇸🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️
Anyway, I think we can all agree that no company anywhere in the world, regardless of industry, location, who runs it, or who works for it, should be allowed to exploit their workers, especially if those workers are minors.
And evidence of worker exploitation should never be used as a gotcha, or in a fanwar, or to try to feel some level of moral superiority. If you really, truly, actually care about it then you know it's a systemic issue globally. You care beyond when it happens to people you stan.
I always get a good hearty giggle out whenever someone calls me a company stan, please tell that to the countless moots I've lost over the years because of the fact that I am very!!!!! much not a company stan.

Wow! Congrats to @OpenAI, @AnthropicAI, @GoogleDeepMind, @SpaceXSI, @nvidia, @Microsoft, and @Meta for making software people hate so much and shoving it down our throats so hard that over half of Americans considered it a major factor in how they voted this year.
How important was AI and data centers to your vote?

Whelp, called it. Coercive dependence via bundling.
Capitalism's response to people not actually wanting their products is always, always the creation & enforcement of coercive dependence, including via state regulation. That's the whole business model.
Google is now threatening America's schools, saying they will turn off their core search functions if schools choose to entirely block AI.

To be clear, HYBE is not (and will never be) blameless in this situation. HYBE leadership gave her an insane amount of power and put zero checks on it. But to try to pretend that she wouldn't be the one overseeing these contracts in the first place is absurd and disingenous.
#she truly is a master manipulator. those girls signed that particularly exploitive contract when she oversaw the company. The VP who pressured the parents into signing was extraordinarily loyal to her. And now she will once again successfully shift all the blame onto HYBE.
