Let me tell you a story about how unethical Anthropic is.
In April, the Anthropic team began heavily courting our engineering team to tell them corporate secrets, technical details, and future plans for @cfosilvia.
They pretended their interest was due to our exploding popularity and accelerating compute usage, but it quickly became apparent that Anthropic was fishing for details on how we built our product and why it was so popular.
This included the Anthropic team trying to wine-and-dine our engineers, including a infamous steak dinner where someone told our team "don't worry about it, this is on Dario."
Our team was not born yesterday, so we quickly realized what was happening and refused to share sensitive information and technical details with the Anthropic team.
As we suspected, Anthropic was trying to get information from us, so they could build a competing product. Some people on their team must have a guilty conscious because they messaged us a few days ago to give us "a heads-up" that they were launching a competing product.
Thankfully, the Silvia engineering team has been aggressively working to get off the frontier models for the last ~ 6 months. That effort has been highly successful, because our compute costs are ~ 97% lower when we use our own model & hardware, the latency is lower, and the accuracy of answers materially increases as well.
The sad thing for Anthropic is they have now released an inferior product and they had to sell their soul to do it.
The only thing worse than being a trillion-dollar company that can't beat a 10-person team is being a trillion-dollar company that no one trusts and everyone knows is unethical.
Serious investors continue to choose @cfosilvia over ChatGPT, Claude, and other frontier companies because these products are not optimized to solve the actual user problem.
Today, Anthropic launched a Claude wrapper that is masquerading as a personal finance product. Best of luck to them.

recent price action to me comes off of a few things : binance hack, midterm and iran war scares, and the constant bunch of ct midwits that are, for the 10th time this year, declaring pokemon over
even if that were accurate, and one could easily look into the history of many of them and what typically happens when zerohedge posts about it, which is to say, closer to the bottom than the top, solana:CARDSccUMFKoPRZxt5vt3ksUbxEFEcnZ3H2pd3dKxYjp profit and revenue doesn't depend on pokemon topping
currently, solana:CARDSccUMFKoPRZxt5vt3ksUbxEFEcnZ3H2pd3dKxYjp is spinning up a competitor to a $20 billion valuation competitor (whatnot), is spinning up their own version of HLP for collectibles (let's call it CLP) which will drive down inventory costs considerably, and is delivering a superior experience to ebay, gamestop, auction houses (which charge 20-25% fees), and soon whatnot, with more liquidity and less fees
I find people often think of solana:CARDSccUMFKoPRZxt5vt3ksUbxEFEcnZ3H2pd3dKxYjp as a trade just being about pokemon, but that's the wrong way to think about it
$cards is aiming to become the liquidity layer for tokenized collectibles, and that is a dramatically larger market than just pokemon
solana:CARDSccUMFKoPRZxt5vt3ksUbxEFEcnZ3H2pd3dKxYjp is down -40% from its recent high 2 weeks ago, with the market being bumpy in general and the timeline full of doomers calling the top and declaring the Pokรฉmon bubble burst.
yet October was an ATH month for Collector Crypt, printing $17.4M in net revenue.
that's $209M (net!) annualized.
and yet, some of the biggest catalysts in its history haven't even been released or come to light. ones that will:
1) massively increase their distribution
2) let them further verticalize the entire stack, continuing to expand both their moat and their revenue streams
3) keep expanding horizontally, making them less dependent on TCGs alone and more on collectibles as a whole, for anyone worried about a bubble here
genuinely didn't expect to see an entry this good in solana:CARDSccUMFKoPRZxt5vt3ksUbxEFEcnZ3H2pd3dKxYjp again. a generational opportunity into one of the best onchain businesses in the entire space.
ironically the same people who cried about being sidelined at the ATH won't have the balls to buy this dip either.

Despite the fud around the top in TCG prices, weekly revenue numbers for @Collector_Crypt are still holding up with $3M last week. But why the sell-off then?
A big portion of it is due to a selling from a single wallet (GknXGg8RsBa2Ka4osTGVzpTzNn5PjR7AYnFKDn66NtmC) and its sub-wallets of 2.66M tokens since October 27th.
That was around $738K of sell pressure which is close to 2% of the solana:CARDSccUMFKoPRZxt5vt3ksUbxEFEcnZ3H2pd3dKxYjp's weekly volume hence a significant amount. Good news is this cluster has no tokens left to sell.
The other reason for the weakness was the monthly team and investor unlocks on October 29th, which the token always tends to be weak heading into on fears of sell pressure.
Both good news and potential bad news is that of the 39.4M tokens unlocked, only 7.1M have been claimed and 1.2M can be tracked to actual sales. So either investors and the team are not selling or we will see some sales this week.
The team also has a tendancy to announce news or buybacks around these unlocks so I think we get a bounce from here. Either ways, this is a comfortable hold for me.
