Just read The Disney Revolt by Jake Friedman. Definitely one of the most interesting books on the golden age of animation. Not only do we get close to the main characters, Walt Disney and Art Babbitt, but Friedman gives a colorful picture of a world in change. @jakesfriedman

Happy Birthday, Ward Kimball, born on this day in 1914! A new biography, unlike any animation biography you've ever seen, will be out in 2023. It's called “If It Ain't Fun, To Hell With It! Ward Kimball's Adventures in Disney, Jazz, Trains, and the Avant-Garde”
Honored and soo happy to be nominated for the 2020 children’s book prize by the Norwegian Ministry of Culture! @Kulturdep
Happy birthday to @tommmoore !
Happy birthday to @CartoonSaloon co-founder and #Wolfwalkers co-director Tomm Moore! His gorgeous, Academy Award-nominated films draw upon a wealth of Irish mythology & history, and have captivated audiences around the world with heartfelt storytelling. 💚✨
#Wolfwalkers from @CartoonSaloon and #Soul from @Pixar were the BEST gifts this Christmas! Two animated masterpieces that push the boundaries of visual storytelling. Thank you for the inspiration @tommmoore & @DocterPete !

Remembering An Animation Titan: Richard Williams cartoonbrew.com/rip/remember…
Master animator Richard Williams inspired animators all over the world and changed my life. When I attended his Masterclass in 2001, I got a revelation of what animation can be. Styles, techniques, philosophy and dedication. Thanks for the inspiration, Master!
