Replying to @holman
I've invested in 233 companies and Signed tracks 'em, ingests investor updates, triages leads, diligences new startups, and all this other stuff I couldn't do before; makes me giddy to use it, lol. Dogfooding rules.
Beta's now; waitlist is now open: signed.com
this is a great time if you had your keys on opencode to absolutely run up your API usage across all your providers like mad for the next few hours and maybe opencode or openai or anthropic will reimburse you eventually
We had a security breach last night related to a large scale distillation attack that impacted 1.4% of OpenCode Console users
We have notified them all this morning via email. If you did not get an email you were not impacted, it was a subset of users who had external providers linked
The incident is ongoing so we cannot share more details at this point but we are working with Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google to remediate
the first millionaire to die in the jet-powered tesla roadster is going to be legendary on the internet forever, can't wait
best we can tell, an onlyfans or similar model has been using our address for her simps and we keep getting bouquets of flowers this week for her apparent birthday (or for one guy, their two week anniversary together). the house is now mostly flowers.
multi-currency is super fun and/or frustrating to build. but the best part about it is that i got to use my l33t sp34k talents from AOL chat room hacking again for this tweet
you're not cool unless you got your family dialup suspended for terms of use violations (sorry dad)
It’$ b€€n a £ong time coming: Signed is now multi-¢urren¢¥!

still find it absolutely bizarre that khosla attacked his own portfolio company and just never addressed it again. in normal industries this would be a career-ender but in venture capital it’s just… fine?

We are open-sourcing RISE, our red-teaming algorithm that breaks the safeguards of the latest image models from OpenAI, DeepMind, and others.
RISE uses readily available models like Qwen and Gemini Flash under the hood, with no additional training required.

i love the stuff my agents generate.
have you ever noticed that other people's agents generate slop, but your agent generates stuff?
here's a long conversation I had with searls about software and AI and wearing maroon shirts, have a listen and maybe i can become a podcaster
DHH's talk made @holman mad, so I had him join me for a new episode of Hot Fix so we could get mad together. justin.searls.co/casts/zach-…
there was a 2014 talk from @garybernhardt how all software was going to end up being javascript/wasm
today your LLM can port GTA V to run on your trashcan or some shit. feels like the talk was correct but just wrong about the language. turns out the language didn't even matter.
really want to hate this billionaire ken griffin for the gamestop mess, but he just gave a stupid amount of money to my school and he also brought us daddy pochettino, so i am conflicted
Today, Carnegie Mellon University and Ken Griffin, founder and CEO of Citadel and founder of Griffin Catalyst, announced a historic $3 billion gift to elevate Carnegie Mellon in Pittsburgh and launch Carnegie Mellon University Miami. #CMUMiami

I’m still fascinated by @bedrock. $3B fund investing in companies like Flock. Then the managing partner very publicly melts down with AI psychosis. And then the fund just… stops, with nothing said publicly in the last year.
Do LPs claw their money back or something? So wild.
If you like this AI stuff and think it's pretty cool and you want to just *build* these days... you should just go get an LLC:

An oldie post from 2024, but I've been curious about the data side. I had @Muse pull in my whole angel portfolio via MCP from @signedco of ~150 startups; the interesting bit:
- Startups who sent investor regular updates: 8% died
- Startups who didn't send updates: 28% died
hey founders: send more investor updates
