yieldmax, graniteshares and many income ETF issuers have seen massive growth in last few years mainly due to giving alternate ways to express your views around tech stocks and generating income via covered calls for example so much so that the AUM growth is around 50% YoY, a number being overlooked by a lot of people in crypto now imagine if we build the whole thing onchain all yieldmax options etfs, imvestable in 1-click that actually makes you steady income that's where @covrdotfun fits in

its time to go back to basics in crypto and give a major fomo to all vcs again in few years lets create more weird, unique, creative things now that we have ai that makes the experience enjoyable at the same time help people make money in unique ways like early days of crypto did we are only 3-4 model release away from vibe coding secure smart contracts too, and enter into bugless products
VCs drained billions from retail selling “frontier tech.” they lost people’s money. now crypto is the problem? bad managers. convenient excuse...get out. you’re not invited here.

harsh but true as you get older potential takes a side seat and have you been executing on it becomes a sharper question and if the answer is yes and yet potential is not realised that means two things - you never had the potential, either you yourself or people around were hyping you up - or you're too distracted and never attempted execution properly in the first place
I regret to inform you that nobody cares about your potential. Potential is nothing without execution. When you're young, everyone cares about your potential. You get used to focusing on it. But as you get older, no one cares about your potential. Just your delivery against it.

lowkey thinking ai stocks peak here, we are about to enter a large correction period which can start anytime within next 1-3 months lasting for a long time doesn't mean ai progress will stall, labs will keep spinning more models but at some point i suppose we will hit the question "for a simple sales projection deck, do i really need einstein?"

btw indian vc ecosystem has become pattern following playbook and thats what hurts it the most the same capital, will chase indian founders at extreme higher valuation for a company that is located in blr post a fundraise after yc or some american vcs while they did have the opportunity to get in lower valuations to summarise, indian vc wants american vcs to underwrite the risk and they are totally comfortable to then participate even if valuations are unreasonable for their fund mandate because at the end they want to be able to say to their lps in case they lose money "well, yc also invested" and that mentality is like that scene of yuvraj singh entry in dhoni movie, you lost the match even before you got into the field if before deploying capital and all the time you're thinking about what would we answer to the lps - dont raise fund - be a better salesman and sell the vision - be outright practical that we only fund bhujiya companies and don't virtue signal and be pretentious
Why are Indian VCs so afraid to take risk and make money? Someone should go to India and take risk and make money. Our story - corememory.com/p/a-new-india…

perspective
I think people dunking on Ashlee should remember that OpenAI raised 78% of India's decade of startup funding in a single round. You could argue there was nothing worth funding, but ambition follows capital. Founders take bigger risks when they have the war chest to do so. India's lack of ambitious companies is as much on VCs as it is on founders.

just open any topic that's popular on x and seems like everyone agrees then open threads and search the same topic and discourse unlimited mind blowing head scratching entertainment my poor soul being unignorant foreigner tried to search ilhan omar on both places to get a fair read around what the controversy is and man, this is some spectrum between x and threads

doesn't matter how hard we push for india to be a leader in everything or atleast ne competitive fortunately and unfortunately its main kpi is completely different the north star is wipe extreme poverty and reduce poverty and support rising middle class (below 12lpa income) i say middle class and all my friends jump in, bitches you ain't middle class if you making beyond 40 lpa - 3crpa
Amazing global progress! How extreme poverty was eradicated in China 🇨🇳 and drastically reduced in India 🇮🇳. This matters - the two most populous nations on earth!

he is able to boss around all them because they want to be part of something great maybe we can boss around thousands of primitive ai agents of google gemma types who can coordinate and attack maybe big boys like gpt 6 stuff but in a world which is so compute constraint i don't see some superai coming anytime soon because sorry we got not compute for you to exist until you learn to hide yourself in shadow and run like a google gemma on every phone
Replying to @TPurity_Alphas
Elon says: "we will not be able to boss around AI that are smarter than us".... while having built his fortune on bossing around thousands of engineers and scientists who are way smarter than himself 🤣🤣🤣

i think sometimes between all these optics, people forget to give dario proper credit. poor guy has to handle distillation, has to also stay on the frontier, and be on top in the race. at the same time he is the only one doing maybe the maximum for ai safety and so many things. the responsibility on his shoulders is way too high. of course at the same time, you have to fight these kinds of distillation attacks as well, which doesn't make it easy. everyone is literally waiting for you to fumble so they can basically get ahead. it's not easy to be dario.
