Standing in solidarity with Imrana @IU_Wakilii. ✊🏾
His car has been released. His brother has also been released, yet Imrana remains in detention.
So what exactly is keeping him there? What are the specific charges or allegations against him?
We deserve answers. Imrana needs our prayers, our voices, and our solidarity.

I am currently reading this judgment; it was delivered on the 5th of May, 2026 by Hon. Justice A. B. Kumalia of the Borno State High Court.
At this point, it is safe to say that the Media report is untrue. Media Houses should learn to verify information before they put it out there. This also applies to social media users.
Do not be quick to post and comment. Ask questions, verify information before you post.
I encourage you to read the judgment. Please read it.
Enjoy your weekend.
Regarding the woman convicted and sentenced to 14 years imprisonment in Borno State, her Lawyers and family should share the CTC of the judgment to help guide the discussion relating to the matter.
As a Lawyer, I find it difficult to believe that a person was convicted and sentenced to years in Prison for assisting an adult to change his or her religion. The story is not believable.
Please if you have the judgment, share it with us.

URGENT: WHERE IS IMRAN U. WAKILI?
We are deeply concerned about the whereabouts of our friend, @IU_Wakilii
No citizen should be subjected to intimidation or uncertainty for expressing an opinion. Freedom of speech is not a crime.

Tragic how Nigerians already live in fear of Boko Haram, bandits, kidnappers and criminals. Must we now fear those meant to protect us? Who protects the citizens?
We deserve security, justice and accountability.
Where is Wakili? #WhereIsWakili

Imran was arrested three days ago, and till today, we still don’t know his whereabouts. This is absolutely unacceptable and a clear violation of his fundamental rights. We demand that the authorities disclose where he is being held and ensure his immediate access to his family and legal representatives. No one is above the law, and no one should be subjected to enforced disappearance. #FreeImran

Why Imran and El-Rufai Youth Face Arrest: Our Refusal to Join the Arewa Movement for Lagos Kleptocrats and the Desperation of a Tyrannical Regime
You are a very stupid, useless liar, and a shameless fool, Dabbs Akuya, jaki, Makaryaci
How do you know it's not political?
Taking his car and arresting his brother has nothing to do with either the car or his brother! They just want to get Imran for the sole reason that he refused to join those Arewa idiots doing PR for the Lagos kleptocrat and that evil party. He also refused to convince his fellow El-Rufai Youth brothers to do the job. They later reached out to us too the El-Rufai Live, El-Rufai Boys, and El-Rufai Girls movements.
It pains them so much to see that even though some of us are not entirely happy with the current ADC issues and the lack of proper action regarding the detention of Malam, every single one of us has refused to support that failure.
We might not be perfect, we might not be happy with the ADC, and we might be angry and frustrated, but no true El-Rufai supporter, Northwesterner, or Northeasterner who loves Nigeria and is patriotic will ever support a failed and tyrannical government.
As Allah warns regarding corrupt and tyrannical leaders:
"Indeed, Pharaoh tyrannized over the land and divided its people into factions, oppressing a group among them... Indeed, he was of the corrupters." — (Surah Al-Qasas 28:4)
Seizing his car and detaining his younger
brother are part of their dirty, unethical tactics to lure Imran to the police station.
But I understand that people like you will defend these oppressors even ko uwarka suka kashe. The Quran strictly warns against aiding or leaning towards zalumci (oppression):
"And do not incline toward those who do wrong, lest the Fire touch you, and you will have no protectors besides Allah, nor will you be helped." — (Surah Hud 11:113)
"And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression." — (Surah Al-Ma'idah 5:2)
Your whole life is built around lying for the government and collecting pennies for a job you are terrible at—yet it still hasn't changed your miserable life. Just remember how Allah will judge and treat oppressors and their shameless enablers:
"And never think that Allah is unaware of what the wrongdoers do. He only delays them for a Day when eyes will stare in horror." — (Surah Ibrahim 14:42)

But the arrest has nothing to do with politics.
According to the statement written by Imran and released by a colleague of his, it has to do with his car which the police is claiming to be a stolen vehicle.
Like people get arrested virtually everyday by the police. Not everything is related to "political views" or political affiliation.
Imran is spending his third night in detention, and neither you or your people reached out to Imran’s family or anyone close to him.
I’ll not talk much about it but this too shall pass, Insha Allah.
Where is Imran U. Wakili?
By his own account, police officers stormed the home of @IU_Wakilii on Thursday, towed his car, seized his younger brother in his place, and ordered him to report to the station. He said he was on his way. Since then, his family has heard nothing. This is what Bola Tinubu's APC government has made of Nigeria: a country where a young man's opinions can cost him his liberty, and where the police take a brother hostage to bring a critic in.
Let me be clear. If Imran is in police custody, the Nigeria Police must say so today, tell his family where he is being held, state the charge against him, and give him access to his lawyer. Holding a citizen in silence is not policing; it is intimidation, and Nigerians see it for exactly what it is. Bola may silence one voice, but he cannot silence a nation that is already hungry, angry, and watching.
As President, I will restore the rule of law, protect every Nigerian's right to speak freely, and ensure that no citizen ever disappears for holding the government to account. Criticism is not a crime.
Free Imran now. -AA
