If you can’t define “alignment” then you can’t ever achieve it. Nobody can define it, so it is impossible to achieve, and it’s time to stop playing pretend with the midwits who insist otherwise.

When you learn that “affirmation” is just changing the filter you use to see the world, and really internalize that, your world changes.

This is the defining element of the 21st century. Fussy Western European parasites declaring that dogs can’t play basketball while airbud dunks on them. Bukele will definitely get his people back, and the reason why is that he has men with guns that will murder anyone trying to stop him. Mao speaks of this.

The very first thing that communists do is “try to improve the food supply”. They do this because they know it will create a massive famine that kills millions of people. That is their goal. You need to internalize this. There’s a reason every leftist is obsessed with food.
In December 1958 the Polish embassy in Beijing refused to let the sparrow killers onto its grounds, so the Chinese surrounded it with drummers and kept the drums going for two days until every bird sheltering in the garden had dropped dead from the air, and the diplomats cleared them up with shovels. That is how thorough it was. The campaign had been running since the spring. Every village, school and factory was turned out with gongs, pans and firecrackers to keep the sparrows flying until their hearts gave out. Nests were torn from eaves, eggs smashed, chicks killed, and children went through the fields with slingshots and were paid by the bird. The dead came in by the basket, strung on wires, piled on carts, and the totals went up the chain as a harvest. Something close to two billion sparrows in two years. The embassy garden was the last place in the capital with birdsong in it, and the drums got that too. A zoologist called Zhu Xi had told them before it started that a king had tried this and lost. Frederick the Great of Prussia had put a bounty on sparrows in the 1740s to save his grain and his cherries, and the sparrows went, and the caterpillars they had been eating stripped his orchards to the stalk, and the king cancelled the bounty and paid to have sparrows brought back from neighbouring states and let loose. The whole episode was in the library. The ministry had a figure for what a sparrow ate and no figure for what it did, and a man with the second figure was told to sit down. The locusts arrived on schedule. Then the grain borers. A sparrow takes a few grains from a field in autumn and feeds its chicks nothing but insects all spring, and with the sparrows gone the insects had the rice and the wheat to themselves. The counties with the most sparrows to lose saw their grain fall the furthest, and the rice and wheat that had been holding the country up went down together. That was 1959, and the state took its grain quota anyway, on the harvest that had been reported. What was left in the villages was not enough, and the famine that followed over the next three years is the largest in human history: tens of millions dead, the estimates running from fifteen million to forty-five, whole counties in Anhui and Sichuan where the living could not bury the dead. The sparrows were one cause among several and the economists who have gone back to the county records put the bird's share at something over two million people, with another four hundred thousand never born. Two million, from a campaign against a thing that weighs an ounce. By 1960 the ornithologist Tso-hsin Cheng, who had been cutting open dead sparrows and counting the insects in their stomachs, got the bird struck off the list and bed bugs put in its place. There were almost no sparrows left in China to pardon. So the government did what Prussia had done two centuries before: it bought a quarter of a million sparrows from the Soviet Union and shipped them east in crates, to be released into a country that had drummed every one of their relatives out of the sky. The animal that does the invisible job is always the one on the ledger as a cost. Take the sheep off a chalk down and the orchids are under scrub in twenty years. Fence the cattle off a Welsh hill and the bracken takes it. Empty a savannah of its herds and the grass goes to fire. All of it written down, all of it in the library, all of it available to the next committee with a figure for what a cow eats. Beijing paid Moscow for the birds in hard currency. The men who had said so in 1958 were still not allowed to say so in 1960.

Drinking black coffee isn’t performative. We live in 2026, we know how to make black coffee taste good. We aren’t drinking stale burnt diner coffee or percolator slop anymore. You’re being a baby. Drinking straight espresso, on the other hand, is usually performative.

There is no "in-office propaganda" anymore, there is only wfh propaganda. Since AI models have developed to the point they are right now, there is zero reason to hire someone to WFH, why wait for a 30 minute - 2 hour response time when astra will respond immediately, dude read the room. The ONLY value a person provides in a white collar profession anymore is bringing optimism, enthusiasm, energy, creativity and an in-office presence nowadays.
Folks are taking pay cuts to WFH. Significant pay cuts. Folks are refusing positions with higher salaries to stay WFH. I’ll never be tricked by in-office propaganda.

Anti-power activists like anti-nuclear people and liberals are all engaged in a covert attempt to kill billions of people. That’s what they want to happen.
It's literally impossible for your country to escape poverty while it has power outages. It's a moral imperative to give people reliably electricity and internet connection.

So many bloodthirsty Ukrainian chickenhawks in the comments of this one, refusing to donate any blood to help save Ukraine. They don’t even have to die, just donate 1 pint of blood. Too high a price for them, but they’ll spend infinite Ukrainian and Russian blood.
If he had accepted this reality 4 years ago, 1M Ukrainian men would still be alive. “Are you saying Russia is justified” I’m saying Russia is going to win, and that fact has been clear since day 1. Pretending otherwise is a vanity project that we pay for with other people’s blood

I love when this old chestnut gets brought out because it’s the perfect tell for how much you interact with poverty. For people below a certain line, a “raise” (more income) results in less benefits, thus less “take home pay” and this baffles most people above that line.
My last raise, I took home less than I was before the raise . Cause I “entered a new tax bracket”. Fuck this shit.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Federal income tax brackets are marginal; only income above each threshold is taxed at the higher rate. A raise cannot reduce take-home pay due to entering a new bracket. irs.gov/filing/federal… nerdwallet.com/taxes/learn/fe… roichil.net/blog/us-federa…

Discovered an electricity usage regulation where buildings must be made more efficient, but only for privately owned commercial/residential buildings, while industrial, farmland, tribal entities and government entities are all exempt. Every regulation is like this.

Years ago I worked with some paper accountants that insisted on printing everything out, while the company kept growing, and I watched as their retarded manual processes slowly became overwhelmed with additional digital volume until they were forced to use automations and computers and basically this is the exact same thing. We can all play pretend that some guy ok a computer is going to toggle an auto update switch but the reality is that agents are needed to manage everything now, and anything less than total adoption will result in total annihilation.
We recommend Cisco users disable the Smart Install (SMI) auto-loading feature on all NSS and DIB network devices to mitigate exploitation by remote attackers. Have you taken this action? Read more: media.defense.gov/2019/Jul/1… #CybersecurityAwarenessMonth
