Effective Immediately, all organizations using PHP for their systems are advised to be prepared for an update addressing two critical vulnerabilities. PHP is widely used for web applications. These vulnerabilities often provide a direct path to the server's file system or database. If an immediate update is not feasible, it is recommend that organizations take the system offline until it can be fully mitigated. NSA will follow up shortly with more specific guidance.
I’ve published quite a few skills for Capafy and it’s been fascinating to follow the ones that have really taken off. Over $289K in a month is wild!
Over $289K in sales on Capafy in just 30 days! Congrats to CloneCut!
It is exciting to see Agent Skills meeting real user needs and generating revenue for creators.
Looking forward to more milestones ahead!

One prompt turns any Unreal Engine game into an instantly playable URL, powered by WASM/WebGPU.

What am I doing here in Rome 🇮🇹? In short, helping the European film and television industries learn about the benefits of XR and Unreal Engine based on AGILE LENS projects. Discussions so far have been excellent!
In a moment I’m on a great panel moderated by Zoltan Batho then on Thursday Josette Seitz and I will be showing demos all day across 5 different headsets.
I’m told there’s 20,000 people here at the #MIA2026 Market, let’s see if we can demo to most of them :)
🎙 TODAY: Tue Oct 20, 5:00 PM
Panel: Video Games & Monetizing Film IP in Different Ways
Palazzo Barberini, Sala Pietro da Cortona

🥽 THURSDAY: Oct 22, 3:30 PM
XR Collective Pitch + live VR demos all day
Hotel Excelsior, Trianon Room

While I’m in Rome I have excellent coverage for our Unreal Engine training center this Wednesday. The brilliant Sean Spitzer, one of my former bosses at Epic Games, will be gracing us with a proper deep dive into Lumen 5.8 including the newest features like Lumen Lite !
Are you ready to go beyond the basics and really fine tune your visualization workflow? Sean has you covered!

Haha this is so passive aggressive (I believe it’s being displayed to every user in Europe. I’m in Europe right now!)

We got a member of the Stanford Figure Skating team to wear our suit and do some data collection for us to make an end user application for him.
The final insights we give them will be valuable to him for personal skill development.
But the raw 3D data is beautiful to us :)

The reason why most "vibe coded" software has security issues and buggy-ness is because it's made by people who either lack the experience to know what checks to put in place or lack the time or care to have added those checks.
Epic will do fine. The launcher came out buggy, but guess what? They got an MVP out and y'all are acting as the QA layer while they also have their own QA internally. Now they are collecting reproducible problems so new checks will be given to the AI to make sure that never happens again.
Epic has the experience to know what to tell AI to do and how to verify itself and they have the commitment to put in the time to make sure any found bugs have the right harness in place.
The problem will be when the context grows too large and it starts costing a lot of time and tokens to verify the harnesses and build new features at the same time. That's where Epic will invest their time and energy in using their engineering experience to find clever ways to get around the build up of a production application over time in AI.
But knowing the engineers at Epic that I've worked with. They will figure that out just fine. 😉😉😉
FORTNITE BUG - SECURITY ISSUES🔴
I currently study Computer Science so already knew this myself with the recent news, but wanted to make it simpler to understand for others
This is Claude. One of main chat bots EPIC GAMES will be using to "vibe code". I asked it to basically confirm my worry for what vibe coding will do to Fortnite
1- As it explains too, normally Vibe Coding will lead into a much messier, buggier and broken software compared to an experienced developer
2- Vibe Coding's biggest issue is the level of security vulnerability that comes with it to allow hacks, viruses and so on or other issues to happen because of it
Like your card information could be stolen, email so on. More cheaters in game, many possible issues. This goes for Epic Games store too since it was VIBE CODED
🥲To put it simply all Epic Games products if they were not already a buggy mess. It should start getting even worse

Vibe coded my parents' TV this afternoon!
It was showing a sponsored ad before you could even get to Netflix.
Gave Claude Code the model number, it found the TV on wifi, removed 25 Xiaomi packages and wrote a new launcher.
Looks like an Apple TV now lol

A stellar example: the reason this looks great isn't the clanker - we all know what unmitigated GenAI slop looks like even in "professional" tech bro contexts.
hector's impenetrable workflow moat is hector's eyes, brain and career-long experience
My favorite VR game studio, and not just because my kids are beta testers. Spymaster is amazing and a ton of fun.
No one does it better than Innerspace !
i built a ghost-hunting game in unreal engine 5 with claude opus 5.5...
there’s a smart way to set it up:
- step 1: start a ue5 project from the third person template, connect opus 5.5 through unreal mcp
- step 2: keep the template’s movement, let opus build on top of it
- step 3: greybox 5 rooms: gallery, library, music room, attic, observatory
- step 4: vacuum beam + ghosts that get pulled in + a “captured 0/3” hud
- step 5: puzzles: hidden bookshelf door, moon lens in the attic, the lens fixes the observatory
- step 6: lumen per room (blue = haunted, gold = restored), niagara for the beam and stars
- step 7: models from tripo, cleaned up by opus in blender, imported as fbx
- step 8: opus playtests, reads the output log, lists bugs before fixing
who does what:
> unreal engine 5: the mansion, lumen, niagara, ui
> tripo + blender: the hero, the piano, the bookshelves, the telescope
> opus 5.5: blueprints and c++, level setup, effects, play tests
> you: play it and say what feels off
one system per prompt, and commit after every system that works
i built a ghost-hunting game in unity 6 with claude opus 5.5...
a haunted mansion, a vacuum pack, rooms that come back to life when you catch the ghost
no code written by hand
the trick is never asking for “a ghost game” in one prompt
who does what:
- unity 6: the mansion, lighting, physics, ui
- blender + meshy: the hero, armchairs, plates, the fountain
- elevenlabs: vacuum hum, ghost wails, doors
- opus 5.5: c# scripts, scene setup, play tests, bug reports
- you: play it and say what feels off
and the rule that saves the project... one system per prompt, and commit after every system that works
one bad batch then costs you seconds
i like to get the ghost capture feeling good in grey boxes first
there’s a smart way to set it up in article👇🏻
