According to the DHS statement, I was incorrect in the section about Samuel being in the States legally. I believed because he was working in Ohio he was. None of that justifies the racist, hate filled rhetoric spewing forth by CN anons. Pray for him and his family.
Samuel Sey, @SlowToWrite, is a friend of mine and precious brother in Christ. He is in the United States legally, married to an American wife, and the father to dear children. These Christian Nationalists going after him are showing themselves not only wrong but psychotic.

Well, if the report from DHS I online is correct, then Samuel was not presently in the USA with correct visa status, and I was incorrect in my original tweet about that part. I was sure since he was working in Ohio that he was of the necessary status. He is a brother in Christ.

You can be dispensational and not: a) blindly affirm secular state Israel, b) believe weird things such as the Sermon on the Mount is for Israel only, c) believe that faith precedes regeneration, d) deny Active Obedience. It is called Reformed Dispensationalism.

The Puritans were marked as skilled preachers. But it was not so much their oratory skill - as good as that would have been - it was the fact they preached Christ to the saint and to the lost sinner. They preached the need to live for Him fully from the heart.

When Martin Luther finally grasped the doctrine of Justification he said it was “as if a gateway to paradise had been opened”.

“So I hated life… thus I hated all the fruit of my labour” (Eccles. 2:17-18) “Moreover, every man who eats and drinks sees good..it is the gift of God” (Eccles. 3:13) Things change when we bring God into the picture (time and time again).

There is an ocean of difference between being a peace maker and a peace keeper. The former works through things in accordance with the revealed will of God and the latter works through things in accordance with the path of least resistance. Be a peace maker. Blessed are….

What a cringey clown show Christian X is too often. Instead, post things like: “Meekness" is opposed to anger. The meek man is not easily excited to exhibit anger, to curse, smite, hate, or wish evil to any, even an enemy. To refrain thus is an art.” — Luther

The way the body of Christ behaves at times is truly incredible sad. “The only conclusion I can make is that the elders of PMBC sinned grievously…They have libeled Tom, disrupted the unity of FBC Lindale, and violated Scripture in the cowardly way that they have done it.”
This is a sad, sordid affair. May the Lord cause truth to be exposed, repentance & forgiveness to be granted, and grace to abound.
