officially retiring the crash mattresses drastically reduced our control parameters and built a much simpler flight controller much better stability and actual controlled landings with zero broken parts

this is how how our flying machine takes off vertically without giant propellers: edfs blow high-speed air directly over a curved surface, the flow hugs the surface and deflects downward, creating vertical lift. COANDA EFFECT!

learned a lot from this test! we'll keep crashing it until it's perfect vertical takeoff and hover test went great until a sensor glitch drifted us toward a pillar cut power in mid-air and took a hard landing

pretty sure we jumped higher than the aircraft how it works: - flies like a plane but has no wings - edfs blow directly over a jetfoil to generate lift (coanda effect) - can hover in place in the air - uses thrust vectoring for drone-like maneuverability while keeping cruise efficiency flew for 3 seconds, cut throttle, hit the floor, 10/10 day
