to the most respected finance minister. i have a doubt. please find time to answer me. you say that the venue for a debate is the parliament. you say that my home minister, amit shah has offered a special session to debate. you say that if rahul gandhi - the leader of opposition, wants to debate my prime minister, he should come to the parliament. ma'am, let's start by pointing out some facts. jul 20 - the parliament session opens. narendra modi, the ever so hon'ble prime minister - addresses the media - outside the parliament. he asks for a fact-based debate. jul 24 - Amit Shah's National Honour Bill is introduced in Rajya Sabha, by Nityanand Rai, who is MoS for home affairs. Jairam Ramesh asks "Where is the Cabinet Minister". This is present in the RS Transcript. jul 29 - Rahul Gandhi, the leader of opposition - asks "why is the Home Minister not here today?". This is also present in the LS Transcript. jul 30 - Rahul Gandhi asks "why Shah is so scared of coming to Parliament" aug 4 - Amit Shah, is seen in the parliamentary complex. at an NDA Parliamentary Party Meeting. He Doesn't enter the house. as per reporting from Navbharat Live. aug 6 - Mallikarjun Kharge, in Rajya Sabha, asks "Why is the Prime Minister not coming? Why is the Home Minister not coming?" as Per Kerala Kamudi - this is consistent with the RS transcript. aug 11 - congress MP Manickam Tagore attacks the absent home minister. as per reporting by the ANI. aug 12 - Amit Shah says to the media, "have been coming to Parliament regularly since the Session began; I sit in my chamber." talking to the media, at around 12:30 PM, Amit Shah offered "If the Opposition wrote to the speaker, there would be a debate from 3 PM wednesday (12 aug - the same day) to 3 PM thursday (13 aug - the next day) this was roughly a 2 hour window to submit the letter. he further said "I will sit in the House; I will listen to everyone and respond to every point." Rahul Gandhi said "We are not interested in listening to his lecture, Who shot those students? Who blinded that student? Who ordered the lathi charge?" this referred to the Pellet Shots fired at the Student, Sahil Lochav. He asked about the Lathi Charge that happened in the protests on July 20th. The Opposition wanted a statement from Shah about this, Shah wanted them to submit a letter to the speaker, in a window of roughly 2 hours - after not being present for 17 straight settings. with no recorded appearance. aug 13 - Lok Sabha sits for 4 minutes. 11:00 AM to 11:04 AM. The National Song, Vande Mataram, is played. and then, the house is adjourned sine die. Both ever so honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Shri Amit Shah were present on these days. for the 4 minutes. --- Respected Finance Minister Ma'am, These were the facts I have pointed out. I have not said anything that was my own opinion. I have not framed the facts in a way that support any party. My facts were gathered by scraping Documents from the LS and RS portal, OCR'ing the PDFs, then parsing them and then Aggregating News Sources. - and pointing out facts from them. Cold, Hard, Records. I have not asked any questions yet - which I will do now. I am a human. I have evolved Pattern Seeking skills. I spot a pattern here. I see that for the entirety of the Monsoon Session, Prime Minister Modi, and Home Minister Shah, did not utter a word on the record of the Lok Sabha. They were not present in the house except for the last 4 minutes, on the last day. Shah says "He was sitting in his cabin", Ma'am, I don't think debates happen when you sit alone in a cabin. It happens on the floor, where the other side can ask questions too. I don't see a meaningful debate happening in an environment like the Parliament. I say this with utter disappointment. If Parliament is the venue for debate, why did the two most senior members of the government not speak there once in 19 sittings? And why was the one offer to debate made to the press on the 18th day, with a deadline of a couple of hours? Why are there "offers" even? I think it is your responsibility to be in debates because that is your entire job. As you say, "Demanding answers also carries an obligation to hear them." -- Well, were Amit Shah or Narendra Modi, hearing the Questions being asked? They were not in the house even. Please Answer my Doubts. I would be very obliged if you do so. Regards, Sarthak
Rahul ji, you ask the Prime Minister to choose a venue for a debate. There is already one: Parliament, where you happen to be the LoP. Just yesterday, Home Minister Shri @AmitShah offered a special session to debate SIR and EVMs. Why not show the same enthusiasm for a debate in Parliament that you show while issuing challenges on social media? Demanding answers also carries an obligation to hear them. There have been several occasions when you and your party have walked out of Parliament while the government was responding to your allegations. How do you claim to be so eager for a debate when you don’t even stay to hear the other side? It doesn’t stop at walkouts. You and the INDI Alliance have repeatedly disrupted proceedings, leading to entire sittings being washed out. If you are so keen on debating, why not allow Parliament to function in the first place? And then there’s the mock Parliament you recently held at the Congress President’s residence. Frankly, that was more a ‘mockery of Parliament’ than a ‘mock Parliament’. You found the time and enthusiasm for that exercise. Surely, the real Parliament deserves at least as much. You speak endlessly about protecting democracy and the Constitution. But that respect should also reflect in how you treat the institutions they have established. As for the issues you frivolously raise, bring specific allegations and evidence to back them up. Simply throwing together a long list of accusations doesn’t make your case any stronger. As LoP, you are expected to show some seriousness and responsibility. You say, “Daro mat.” Then bring the facts, face the scrutiny and stay to hear the answers. In the House, uphold the standards of debate you demand from others.

My dear friends, please, I hope to demand your absolute attention to this matter: In 2018, my junior from St. John’s Medical College, Bengaluru, Dr. Randall Sequeira (middle in the pic), trekked up a steep, bauxite-rich plateau in Odisha to hold a monsoon health camp in the indigenous Kutiya Kondh village of Kutrumali. In a piece he wrote then titled "Kutrumali’s Demons," Randall described sleeping under a dripping school roof in freezing fog, borrowing utensils from a local health worker to cook khichdi, and waking up at 6 AM to a line of tribal mothers. He wrote with heartbreak about treating malnourished toddlers with protruding bellies and visible ribs, listening to stories of stillbirths and chronic fevers, while noticing the shiny new solar lights installed by a mining conglomerate eyeing the aluminium ore beneath the villagers' feet. Comparing his small medical team to hobbits sheltering in the night, Randall worried about the outside forces coming for that fragile village. Randall stayed with the tribal/ adivasi community to serve them. After St. John’s and an MD in Internal Medicine from SMS Jaipur, he gave up every comfort of urban medicine to live in Kalahandi, recognizing that clinical prescriptions are meaningless when indigenous communities are stripped of their forests, water, and dignity. On the night of October 16, Odisha police picked up Dr. Randall Sequeira and Dalit activist Laxman Naik at 11 PM from his home in Bhawanipatna. A gentle physician who has spent years trekking up hills to save tribal children is now locked in Rayagada sub-jail under frivolous but draconian charges (attempt to murder, dacoity), simply for standing with Adivasis peaceful protesting the mining of their sacred hills in Sijimali and Kutrumali. thewire.in/rights/randall-se… Odisha Govt. said it will cut down forests to connect tribal villages. But it was a way to bypass green laws and fast track London based Vedanta’s, and Adani's mining plans. Local organisations estimate that around 45 villages depend on these hills and would be affected. reporters-collective.in/trc/… The state has answered with repression rather than dialogue. In the last three years, at least 43 police cases have been filed and over a hundred Adivasis and Dalits, both women and men, have been incarcerated in Odisha jails. For example, from In March and april 2026, 8, 2026, to April 8, 2026, within one month, 24 people were sent to jail, 217 were made accused, and the number of “others” total 1,140. An activist who was not named in the original FIRs, but has since been implicated in about 12 cases, so that bail in one case is followed by arrest in another. This pattern of capture and releases have been used to crush rational dissent. Dr. Randall understood that being a good doctor means understanding that prescriptions cannot compensate for the denial of land rights, that surgery cannot undo displacement and that no medical can substitute for the basic infrastructure a government has failed to provide. thehindu.com/sci-tech/health… To my fellow medical fraternity, and every citizen with a conscience: a kind physician who embodies the highest ethics of our profession is being criminalized to clear the way for bauxite mining. Please do not let his voice be buried in a sub-jail. Amplify this, demand due process, and demand the immediate release. Please sign in this form to show solidarity: forms.gle/o2Rj2Uu3tXaoWu9dA If anyone can help out in this situation please reach out to Medico Friend Circle - mfcindia.org/

Important: Here’s something that a LOT of people don’t know about what’s actually going on with Delhi Police. CJP’s Saurav Das & Ashutosh Ranka have been sent to 2 more days of judicial custody in Tihar Jail. By a judicial court? NO. They have been kept in Tihar Jail for the last 6 days on the order of a Special Executive Magistrate (SEM). Who is an SEM? He is an ACP-rank (junior) police officer of Delhi Police appointed by the state govt. Therefore, Delhi Police arrested Saurav & Ashutosh & now a Delhi Police ACP (acting as SEM) is keeping them in jail. There’s no FIR against them. There’s also no judicial order. Delhi Police are the accusers & well as the judge when it comes to keeping them in jail. That’s how messed up it is.

hard disagree. there's a system in place whose sole purpose is to address these issues. as citizens, yes, it's our responsibility to raise our voices, contact whoever we can, and push for things to get fixed. but to what extent? we all have jobs, responsibilities, and lives of our own. we can't just put everything aside to do the work of people who are literally responsible for handling these problems. it's the job of higher authorities to identify these issues and ensure they're resolved. and idk if you realise this, but the only reason they're fixing it now is because a foreigner with public visibility has started raising questions. they know addressing it will earn them some good PR. but why does something as basic as this even need to go viral to get fixed? there are official grievance portals, there are social media platforms, and people have been lodging complaints day after day, only to get absolutely nothing in return. if a system only starts functioning when there's public outrage or an opportunity for good PR, then what's even the point of having that system in the first place? makes me wonder who's the real parasite here.
I think what is actually needed is for Indian people to actually give a damn about their cities and fellow citizens. Anybody using the "I pay taxes, I shouldn't have to do anything" excuse should go live in another country. India isn't developed, it's developing, so it needs patriots, not parasites. If this triggers you, it means you're part of the problem. If you're not happy with the footpath (or a pothole, or anything else which is broken), fix it, or call someone to fix it, and don't give up until it's fixed. Be relentless. Be vocal. Be creative. Make it your mission to get that one thing fixed. Look at what Virendra (@Virendra0698) did by just calling the right people and being respectful (but also persistent). He and Arun Pai (@arunpaiblrwalks) along with the help of GBA and some wonderful volunteers turned an unofficial garbage dump into a pristine, beautiful footpath through sheer force of will. teapawt.org/Virendra0698/status/21…

Quick Question:- People say India is more FREE than China is Having lived for 68 years in India I know I. Courts don't offer equitable justice to all citizens II. Police, Officials and Politicians abuse their power massively III. Any Indian can be jailed for 7 days without being presented before a magistrate IV. Any Indian can be interrogated outside the presence of his lawyer by the police V. Properties can be encroached by thugs without the slightest recourse barring an expensive settlement or a long drawn court battle VI. Citizens can be forced to wait for 20 minutes, 30 minutes even 45 minutes for convoys of ministers to pass through VII. The Average time to prove ones innocence is 6 1/4 years VIII. The Average time to establish ones guilt is a single FIR registered in 20 minutes IX. Bail is decided based on wealth of the accused rather than the weight of the case. A Theft accused could spend 15 months without bail and a rape accused could walk out in 3 months with bail X. Corrupt Politicians & Officials are so frequent that people now regard Honest Politicians & Officials as fools Where is this FREEDOM everyone talks about? (If you say "Freedom to tweet this" - I believe the same freedom is available in every nation except North Korea maybe)

ASTONISHING: CJP’s Ashutosh Ranka and Saurav Das still in judicial custody for trespass and violation of prohibitory orders while waving the tricolour at Jantar Mantar (not an act of violence by any reckoning), and Hindu Raksha Dal members who were caught on camera beating protestors out on bail (an act of brazen goondaism). Yeh hai kanoon??😡

!!! I have no words - we have a first-hand confession by the Hindu Raksha Dal leader that he was violent with protestors! @DelhiPolice I assume you will track his phone, send 10 IB guys to his house, and lock him up in Tihar? Oh wait - you reserve that for peaceful protestors.
“We are not bound by anything, we only follow Sanatan Dharma.” Hindu Raksha Dal chief Pinky Bhaiya has claimed responsibility for violence against CJP protesters in Delhi. In an interview with Outlook’s Gyan Verma, he discusses the attacks, his organisation’s position on the police and the Constitution, its alleged links to the BJP, the criminal cases against him and his vision of Hindutva. #PinkyBhaiya #HinduRakshaDal #DelhiViolence #CJPProtests #OutlookIndia

Met an uncle, and within minutes, politics came up. Uncle: CJP is funded by foreign powers. Me: Okay, but they’re raising concerns about vote chori (SIR), which seem valid. Uncle: There’s no proof of vote chori. Me: Then where’s the proof of foreign funding for CJP? Uncle: 🤐

I'm not an Elon hater. I'm just telling you the Honest Truth: This is a marketing stunt. The technology is quite old. Just nobody ever thought of bolting it on a car. Because it's pointless. Porsche or Ferrari could also build something like this if they wanted, but they don't, because it's not worth it for them. It's worth it for Elon though, because his entire brand is all about having the halo of futurism. His marketing scales especially well with tech gimmicks like this, which is why he is financially incentivised to do them, while others aren't. Again, I'm not hating, but actually educating yall. This is not engineering genius. It's marketing genius.

At some point Govt needs to answer a very basic question. If citizens have to privately arrange healthcare, education, transport, security, clean water, clean air, retirement and backup for basic infrastructure... then what exactly is the middle class receiving for decades of taxes? Because "earn more money so you can protect yourself from our failures" cannot be the economic model of a serious country.

There's a reason Constitution doesn't start with "we, the government, but it starts with " we, the people " You don't have to agree with a protest to defend someone's right to protest. The government is not the owner of democracy. It is its temporary caretaker. You cannot love the history of resistance and hate the very idea of resistance.
