Games made with AI are for profit Games made with heart are for people. Which would you rather play? A game from a creator who cares about curating an experience or a game that wants your money for a quick buck?

Developers who are getting value from AI should speak up. There's safety in numbers. MOST developers are doing it and loving it - and if they're not talking about it it's mostly out of fear for haters attacking them, their product, and their company.

RJ, I'll leave you with this: You can call me an "AI huckster" all you want. Or whatever other derogatory term you can come up with. But one thing you CAN'T accuse me of is making money off merchandise built around someone else's intellectual property while lecturing others about creative ethics. That's a pretty spectacular level of hypocrisy, don't you think?

Woke up to a notification of a 33% price hike on my @OldSchoolRS membership. I think this is where I call it quits. I have three accounts, this game is not worth $400 a year to me. Been playing since childhood, started in 05, but a price bump every 2 years is cooked. I am out.
