Stourbridge 13 August 2026 A Day I Will Never Forget Yesterday, 13 August 2026, is a day I don't think I will ever forget. At around 5pm, I came home to Stourbridge to find neighbouring houses on fire. Seeing flames and smoke that close to your own family home creates a feeling that's difficult to put into words. Suddenly, everything you normally take for granted doesn't matter. We were packing belongings into cars, preparing to leave our home, not knowing what was going to happen next. At the same time, we were outside with garden hoses, spraying water over fences and anything we could, desperately trying to protect our property as the fire burned frighteningly close by. You find yourself looking around your home and thinking: What do we take? How much time do we have? Will our house still be here when this is over? That fear is something I will never forget. But neither will I forget the people who were running towards the danger while everyone else was preparing to get away from it. The response from the firefighters, police, ambulance crews and everyone involved in the emergency response was incredible. While families were frightened and uncertain about what was happening, these men and women were simply doing their jobs — putting themselves in harm's way to protect people's homes, possessions and, most importantly, lives. Watching the firefighters tackling the blaze at such close quarters gives you an entirely different appreciation for what our emergency services do. It's very easy to take them for granted until the day you are the person standing there watching them protect your street, your neighbours and your family home. So this video is simply to say: Thank you. Thank you to every firefighter who fought the fire. Thank you to the police, ambulance crews and everyone else who responded. Thank you for protecting our community. And thank you for being there when we needed you. To our neighbours whose homes and lives have been affected, our thoughts are very much with you. Homes and possessions can be repaired or replaced. People can't. #stourbridge #fire #stourbridgefire #firefighers #ambulance #police

We let that happen. Dropped back. 45 mins equal... Score and set back. So frustrating. #england #WorldCupWinners2026

This incredible 1993 Porsche 911 Carrera RSR 3.8 'Strassenversion' has just sold at RM Sotheby's. One of only two ever built, with just 10 kilometres on the odometer, it still wears the factory Cosmoline coating along with decades of dust and grime from storage. Watching it covered in snow foam (AI generated) is strangely satisfying... but here's the question... Would you clean it... or leave it exactly as it is? Part of me wants to preserve every bit of its history. The other part wants to spend eight hours with a pressure washer, snow foam, detailing brushes and a ceramic coating. 😂 👇 Tell me what you'd do. #porsche #porsche911 #964RSR #carreraRSR #porscheclassic #aircooled #rmsothebys #cardetailing #snowfoam #barnfind #carcollector #porschelife #classicporsche #petrolhead #auction
