Excellent exhibition at the @HattonGallery in Newcastle of work by the abstract artist Mali Morris. Her work has a vibrancy of pure colour that is beautiful to behold.

Four part Bach like harmonies playing from Live via Hermod to control 4 simple triangle VCO voices on my Serge system. The volume of each voice isn't connected to the note start but is controlled via non synchronous LFO's > VCF & VCA of each voice. Effects via Wellspring.

Tonight’s culinary adventure is a Moroccan inspired stew with Chick Peas, Butternut Squash & Cavolo Nero topped with Coriander, toasted Fennel Seeds & Feta Cheese mixed with Lemon Zest.

Second patch with the Wellspring from Teaching Machines is using a simple, manually triggered melodic voice from the Serge. Setting the 2 delay lines on the Wellspring to long & grungy. Flipping between the Follow 1 & Free settings brings in extra dirt & Magic increases feedback.

First patch with the Wellspring from Teaching Machines with a rather lovely sequence from my Serge system. Some nice grungy stereo delay with Band Pass modulation going through the stereo spring systems with added feedback using the Magic function.

Newly arrived at the DiN studio is this rather lovely Wellspring from Teaching Machines. An analogue stereo spring reverb system with dual delay/filter lines with modulation. Looking forward to putting this through its paces.

A heads up that "Chronicle" (DiN89) by ARC will go up for pre-sale on the DiN Bandcamp page on Friday 1st November. A limited edition of 500 CDs this a record of their 2007 concert at E-Live in the Netherlands and is the only one of their 8 gigs never to have been released.

Chromatic Fantasia & Fugue in D Minor by J.S.Bach has to be one of my favourite pieces of music, irrespective of genre. It’s beautiful yet abstract harmonic shifts just fill your soul with joy.
